We had the short list 3 course tasting! It was amazing. The food was so delicious! Nice atmosphere! Definitely book ahead. Great, friendly service!
We couldn't eat here as It was closed but I just want to make this review to say Thank You. My son fell close by and injured his arm . I asked for some ice. The personell was so very nice, they gave me ice in a towel, a sugared drink for him, and indication for the close by medical center. He is fine now, so a big thank You and we hope we can come to eat in sometime!
We had the full tasting menu last night and it was absolutely delicious. Service was great and we never felt rushed to leave although we were the first booking of the evening. Only thing i would say was the music was a bit nuts (bit heavy for an evening meal felt a little like being in a rave) but still 5/5

Reviews
The Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye offers a mixed dining experience, with some guests enjoying superb meals in a cozy atmosphere while others faced disappointment due to lack of ambiance and cold conditions. The restaurant's focus on local, sustainable cuisine was appreciated by some, but issues like uncomfortable temperatures and techno music playing detracted from the overall enjoyment for others. Despite positive mentions of excellent dinners and friendly staff, there were instances where diners felt unwelcome or misunderstood by the management.

My husband and I and our adult daughter spent two nights at the Dunvegan. The first night included their wonderful Fire Experience dinner. It was fabulous.
Each of our rooms (very well-priced) faced the sea and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The attached bath was small but functional.
Although some others have not appreciated the breakfasts, we thought they were wonderful. The homemade granola was the best I’ve ever tasted, and there were meats and cheeses, and all other sorts of breakfast items.
In addition to our wonderful stay, there was some question when we returned about charges that were fully investigated and supported by the staff at the hotel. They provided excellent customer service and we were very pleased with the result.
I can fully and highly recommend this establishment for both accommodations and food.
My partner and I had dinner at the restaurant whilst on holiday in October and thought that it was excellent. The food was very tasty (we particularly enjoyed the venison with charred celeriac puree), with some really stand out dishes and good flow through the menu. Also the service was great, fantastic vibes with good décor complimented by the music and lighting - that all complimented the food very well. Great location too - right next to the loch - and we enjoyed looking out over thew water during and after dinner. The staff were very friendly, and we enjoyed talking to the chef about the food. We both rated the restaurant in our top 3 places to eat on Skye, and would highly recommend it.
