Inside the airport, there is a standard waiting area and Kulata Cafe for refreshments.
Why you should go
1
Experience efficient service at a regional airport serving major airlines
2
Enjoy amenities like working air conditioning and filtered water station
3
Convenient location of car rental booths and free shuttle transportation to resort area
Perfectly reasonable for a regional airport.
Three airlines (Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin). Definitely arrive early to get front spot in the check in line.
One gate, one cafe and one gift shop. No frills, but working air conditioning which is a huge plus up here!
The check in staff are always great here. The security, however, ruins the experience very time. Non standard security checks, including taking out power packs. Rude security staff, particularly the Canadian guy, who seems to revel in his uniformed role. This is a regional tourist airport, not a major city hub. Management need to be a little easier going when thinking about security issues.

Great little airport at the heart of Australia. It’s quiet, clean, and has filtered/cold water for people to fill their water bottles up after their flight. There’s free transportation to the resort area right outside and the ride is very short. Enjoy your stay!
Nice little airport. Car rental booths right as you get in, cars parked across the road from the airport. 1 baggage carousel. Toilets. Cafe and drinking water fountain past the security. One shop for your souvenirs/gifts.
No ones checking when you arrive, but, if you are carrying fruit from out of state, theres a bin near the exit door to bin them.
