Gudit was a queen that sacked and destroyed Axum so it's quite an ironical name. Here in the field there are examples of older stellae that were still rough without any masonry nor polishing except for 1 which is polished and then there are remains of a large obelisk that was probably transported and left here.

Gudit Stelae Field, named after Yodit Gudit who destroyed the stelae, is a site of spectacular ancient history. The field is completely abandoned and situated amidst cultivated fields, across from the palace of the Queen of Sheba. It features examples of older stelae that are rough and unpolished, with one exception that is polished. Additionally, remnants of a large obelisk can be found here.

(Translated by Google) Completely abandoned, it is located in the middle of some cultivated fields, although it is opposite the palace of the Queen of Sheba and is easy to get to. (Original) Totalmente abandonado, se encuentra en medio de unos campos de cultivo, aunque está enfrente del palacio de la reina de Saba y es fácil de llegar.
