My partner and I were luckie enough to visit Garths home gallery. Garth, his sister and his wife are very welcoming and it is obvious from the moment you talk to them they are passionate and knowledagble about their artwork and local history. Can't speak highly enough of them, you won't be disappointed. My partner got her mum some beautiful earings.
The experience of buying a pounamu from the actual artist, let alone a member of the Ngati Mahaki tribe that harvest the stone is magical. The variety of designs, stones and stories that go with each inspiration is wonderful listening to. Garth and his wife Jo are creating pieces for you to cherish and at some time pass down to another with a real story of how your Mana will carry on to others.

Garth and Jo are such a talented team. I am a repeat customer and recently purchased a piece for a colleague to celebrate an impending milestone. Garth’s work speaks for itself and Jo makes the purchase process authentic and seamless. These are genuinely great people who, in my view, are in the class of their own in terms of quality, customer service, authenticity, uniqueness.
Great little workshop by Garth with a huge selection of his personalized green stones. A must visit place when you're in the west coast. Garth spent time to explain to us about the history of his culture and what it means to wear these beautiful jewellery.
