I had a great time on their half day dolphin tour. Not only did we see a lot of dolphins toward the end of the tour but we got to paddle through some beautiful scenery with mangroves and some mild rapids, take a swim break, and share some bananas & sticky rice. They were also very kind about giving us rides at the end of the tour. I don’t usually take a lot of tours but I would recommend Silver Dolphin for anyone looking for a fun tour at a good value!
We had a really great stay at Silver Dolphin Guesthouse. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were great with a lovely view across to the city and the river!
The tour to see the dolphins amazing! We had great fun kayaking down the Mekong. We really enjoyed being able to swim and we saw so many dolphins really close to our boats which was incrediable! Our guide was so knowledgeable and fun. We really recommend the tour and a great place to stay!
I’d like to start by saying how friendly & polite the lady working there was. She was helpful too and we booked the dolphin kayaking experience through her. We stayed for 2x nights and it was good value for money. The rooms are quite basic and what you’d expect for what you pay. But you get great usable guest WiFi. There is air con is the rooms, unfortunately mould on the walls & ants all over the floors. But there is a hot shower, basin & decent toilet with a bidet. Great views over the river and close to the town centre for shops/restaurants. Thank you for having us🙏

Staff are lovely and super helpful! They helped arrange everything I needed.
Rooms are spacious and clean, but bare (no drawers or wardrobes or anywhere to hang anything - just a bed and a built-in table). Hot showers. Good bed covers and pillows. Simple but comfortable.
Steep stairs up to the 3rd floor where the rooms are, but worth the hike - nice breeze, and wonderful sunset view from the balcony area.
The place is located at the far south end of town, but it's only a 30 min walk to the furthest you'd go (the ferry or bus terminal), otherwise, most things in town are within a 5 minute walk.
for $6 i think you are somewhat getting what you pay for but to be honest i would just spend a few more dollars and go somewhere you can have a decent night sleep. only a ceiling fan and unable to open the window meant the room just got hotter overnight. you almost have to put your hand in the toilet to flush, shower goes all over the toilet and bathroom remains wet. you hit the base of the bed when lying down. no covers on the blanket and we got stained towels…
glad it was only one night
