Nice and neat trail.
I visited a Pumpkin Walk (happening 11&12th of October 6:00pm-9:00pm), and it was a great experience with my toddler. Cute pumpkins were placed on the side of the trail with candles in it. It was my toddler’s first Pumpkin Walk, and my baby really enjoyed it!! Many people brought their dogs and walked together! There were also food trucks and a place with tables!
Very nice and easy little park in Minot, ND, near the Souris River. Well maintained, free, toilet available at the parking lot. Leashed dog welcome. Not too crowded, Can park +-10 cars. Various paths for a 1 to 3 miles walk. Paths are packed gravel and grass. Bikes are welcome. Open year around for winter sports.
This is a beautiful hike. There are various paths to take, to determine what distance you want to walk. We did the outer loop and it was just over a mile. The terrain is easy. There is very limited access to fresh water, so if you bring your pup, bring them some water.
