i stepped in dog shit and it got all over me and my son i will like to press charges.
I took my family to this nice little park to enjoy an afternoon out. The positives: there is a nice playground. It's not big, but it is new and the equipment they have is nice. My kids really enjoyed climbing on the rope web and using the slides and swings. The C&O trail goes through the park so there is a nice path you can walk on. There is also some green space for the kids to run around on, a sandlot baseball field and a small gazebo. The downside: there is a large old basketball court that does not have any backboards or hoops and the concrete is cracked. There is also an area of the park that does not have anything, but its not grass either. Overall, my family enjoyed our time here and with a bit more upkeep this could be a very nice park (3.5 stars).
Nice walk path. Park lacked seating and enough kids playground equipment but they seemed to enjoy what was there. Quiet neighborhood.

John A. Stefek Park offers a mix of positive and negative aspects according to visitors. The park features a new playground with enjoyable equipment like rope webs, slides, and swings that kids love. Additionally, the C&O trail passing through provides a pleasant walking path. However, some downsides include an old basketball court without backboards or hoops and cracked concrete areas. Despite these issues, families appreciate the green space for running around, sandlot baseball field, and small gazebo on-site.

This is a pretty cool park! Nice and clean, and has a rubber-like platform for kids to play on instead of rocks or wooden shards. Nice, and clean, but I did see another kid get beat up seemingly randomly... anyway, 4 stars because there's a basketball court there - except the hoops have no back-boards and the concrete border is ugly and cracked.
It's relatively small park so fun for a few kids at a time But there's really no shade so if it's a Sunny day you might not want to stay long or definitely bring some extra bottles of water
