Great Thai food in an unexpected place! There is a small selection of food but the pad Thai and noodle stir fry was done well. It came out very quickly and was delicious. Both the dishes had a lot of protein in them. The drinks were also refreshing and much needed after a long hot day. It was on the expensive side but generous portions.
Even in the low season this place was busy and it’s understandable why. The service was fast and friendly and the food authentic and delicious. The Cashew Tofu Vegetable stir fry was excellent as was the vegetarian Pad Thai and the Lemongrass tea was a perfect pick me up after a hot day of walking. Highly recommended.
We arrived in the dark to Anbinik Restaurant. After we ordered two red curries, one Pad Thai and one cashew chicken ($25 per meal), we had a seat in the outside area. The staff was nice and the curries came out really quickly. One meal took a bit longer. The curries were really yummy, but could have been a bit more creamy. The cashew chicken was also good. The Pad Thai was a bit oily. All portions were big, so plenty to eat and share. Overall, you can do nothing wrong here. We would go again and can therefore recommend this place.

Try the pad Thai and noodle stir fry for well-done dishes with lots of protein
Consider ordering red curries or cashew tofu vegetable stir fry for excellent flavors
Opt for Lemongrass tea as a perfect pick-me-up after exploring Kakadu National Park
Be prepared for slightly higher prices but generous portion sizes to share or enjoy multiple meals from one order
