Zoológico Do CIGS 🐯

Great place right in the city of Manaus the site is ran by the military great place to see Jaguars and other animals monkeys, birds. Ran by the military and is one of the best zoos in Manaus. Aquarium is complete last time it was under construction. Great for kids and wheelchair accessible. Nice little Cafe in the park. Very nice day at Cigs zoo

We got to see jaguars (onça), tree boas, numerous birds such as macaws, a tucan, and a harpy eagle, plus green anacondas (sucuri)!!!

Great place to visit if you have time to spare in Manaus. I went to explore the different animals they have in the Amazon region and it was incredible to see the jaguar and black panthers, along with the monkeys, turtles, and exotic birds. It looks like they take good care of the animals here ♥️

The zoo has most key creatures from Amazon. No sloths are keep. The place does need some major upkeep

This zoo was maintained and ran by the military and most of the animals were rescues from illegal trading. This is a great thing, but the maintenance was not up to par. The sidewalks were all uneven, there was trash everywhere and the cages could use an updating. There was ample rust on some of the cages and other visitors screaming, throwing things into the cages and trying to provoke the tiger. The entire time I was there, I didnt see anyone tending to any animals. It was a bit concerning. But the price was cheap. 5 Reals
