The owner is missing out on a great opportunity. Growing up we would go here when it was the Hilton and the pool, hot tub, mini golf, and games were all working and was a lot of fun. Pool hasn’t worked in years and it’s basically a ghost town. They are completely unaware of the potential this place has.Needs new owners and management. Very sad to see it ran like this
We had a terrible experience at this hotel. I made a deposit of $50 at the check-in desk, which would be returned to me. I went into the room and didn't even turn on the TV because it didn't have a remote control. When I left, they didn't give me my money back. They charged me $48 for a remote control that I've never seen in my life. The service was terrible. I explained that I didn't see the remote control when I entered the room, and the receptionist still charged me $48. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. I felt robbed. It was the worst experience I've ever had in my life.
Water hasn't been in that pool for yrs. Need card for Locks on the doors & somehow I always end up getting a messed up 1. There was a murder suicide last yr here & the 3rd person went to jail. Breakfast is a joke. But tbh last time I came there was no breakfast all cuz of short staff. It's normally clean and maintained. Very quiet. Everybody minds their own business. Not a lot of theft. The rooms r decent and normally everything in the rooms work. The staff is as accommodating as they can be and aren't rude at all... House keeping could be a little better but as I've said before they've been short on staff. I give them a b+ for effort at least. Lol♥️

It's been years since I stayed here, but this is another truly unique, one-of-a-kind hotel. Impressive size and interior layout, was probably super awesome in its heyday... ...but everything smells old, and the rooms and service are wanting.
Was told my reservation was canceled @ 2:30pm when I tried to check evening of the 23rd. Made the reservations in Jan 2025 and recieved confirmation email the day of my stay. Front desk staff couldn't locate me with my name (which i thought was a lie), go grab my phone to give them confirmation number and that's when I was told my reservation was canceled. Hotel staff stated they had issues with Booking.com paper reservations? Weird casue made my reservation thru Cap1. Called Cap1 to get points back and dispute was decline by the hotel stating I refused to leave a credit card on file for incidentals. (Which is standard and I had my Driver's license and credit card ready. Cause I never have any incidentals) Had to leave a review because gut feeling is this has been done before.
