We had a fantastic lunch at Bar Superette - everything from start to finish was spot on. The playlist set the perfect, relaxed Sunday afternoon vibe, without being overpowering. The staff were attentive, friendly, and welcoming.
Food-wise, every dish was perfect. Loved the fresh oysters, chargrilled octopus and tuna dish. Oh and the fresh, warm bread was amazing! It was all washed down with some lovely wine.
A really special place and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

The menu is designed to share, which makes it easy to try more of the dishes.. and you’ll want to! The small and share plates are some of the best we’ve had, each with standout flavours and clever combinations. The chef clearly knows his craft and isn’t afraid to get creative in the kitchen, bringing unexpected elements together in a way that just works. It’s similar to top Sydney spots like Caravin or Bar Copain (though I actually preferred it - the creativity and flavour combinations were next level).
The cocktails were just as impressive, balanced, fresh, and thoughtfully put together. The whole experience had that relaxed yet refined feel, with a team that clearly cares about what they’re serving.
It’s one of those places that shows just how good regional dining can be - stylish, inventive, and genuinely memorable. Five out of five.

Another fantastic experience at Bar Superette. I love the wall of wines either for dine in or takeaway instead of a traditional wine list. The atmosphere was buzzing and the food was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection. The cauliflower with Roquefort was a great side. The cheese to finish was perfect: We would definitely recommend visiting Bar Superette whilst visiting Merimbula.
A truly delicious, creative and thoroughly enjoyable meal. Paired with professional service and a trendy, warm atmosphere. The deli plate, anchovy toast and hanger steak were favourites. What an incredible experience, 5/5.
