It's a nice pla e ro walk and view as you go or stay a bit longer to chat and maybe buy something to take home.
If you want a Suriname cultural experience all in one you can go to wakka pasi right in the center of Paramaribo. Different kind of wine made from Suriname fruit (This is very unique for Suriname). Try the Sopropo wine or the Sjoeroe wine or just any wine everybody has a different taste. You get to taste it before you buy it. They also have different Ice cream from Suriname fruit. We tryed the Awara and the Podosiri. We even made a combination of them together it was so delicious. One thing you can always find in Suriname are the right medicine plants or just palm trees and fruits for your skin care or just to make medicine. At waka pasi we found different kind of soap made of different kind of plants and essential oils. For a $1 you can already buy a small piece of soap. also there are a lot of stands with souvenirs, jewelry and lots more. The night we were there their was a steel band playing. It was all in one a exotic experience.
