As the name suggests, the San'in Geopark coastline actually runs from Kyoto prefecutre through Hyogo, Tottori, and Shimane Prefectures. So while the National Park is listed as being located here, its quite extensive, and even includes the Oki islands. The region has wholly unique geological features, rare volcanic rock formations, some of which are jutting right out of the ocean. This would be a spectacular road trip, following the entire coastline, stopping at natural hot springs (again thanks to the volcanic nature of the coast) and local stands that sell local vegetables and fruit (again because the soil is fertile due to previous volcanic activity). I love this coastline and try to explore it whenever possible. It's intricate and there is always something amazing to see.
Protected area with the Kinosaki Onsen region inside it.
(Translated by Google) It was all made of sand, and I was really impressed.
This time we are focusing on France.
French history is also in the background.
It was very good.
From May, it will be the Japanese edition.

San'in Kaigan National Park, located along the Sea of Japan, offers a breathtaking coastline with stunning cliffs, beautiful sandy beaches, and unique rock formations. Visitors can enjoy driving along the coast to witness spectacular views everywhere they look. The contrast between the crystal clear sea and blue sky adds to the park's beauty. With opportunities for canoeing experiences and exploring less crowded areas like Takeno coast, this national park is a must-visit destination that showcases nature's splendor throughout the seasons.

(Translated by Google) I visited San'in Kaigan National Park and was overwhelmed by the beauty of nature! The park stretches along the Sea of Japan and features breathtaking cliffs, beautiful sandy beaches, and strangely shaped rocks. It was especially great to drive along the coastline, and it felt like ``everywhere you look, there are spectacular views.''
The weather was nice on the day I visited, and the contrast between the crystal clear sea and blue sky was very beautiful.

It depends on when you visit! We've compiled data from NASA on what the weather is like in Kami-cho for each month of the year: see the links below for more information.
