We ordered the hot dog, the lobster roll, and the lobster soup for a quick lunch. All three were amazing, but the soup was really special! We ate with a view of the glaciers in the lagoon. Service was fast and friendly.
Had the “lobster roll” (not actually lobster). Lobster aside, it was actually pretty delicious. I’d even say pretty good value for money for Iceland. Food was ready super fast.
Food truck. Amazing langoustine soup and roll. Comfort food in a chilly rainy day after boat tour. The soup was so good that we repeated order 😋

Visitors rave about the delicious langoustine soup and rolls at Heimahumar 'Local Langoustine' Truck, with one reviewer even calling it the best soup they've ever tasted. The quick service, friendly staff, and stunning views of glaciers add to the overall experience. While some note that the prices are high due to its tourist location, many find the food to be worth it despite minor issues like hot dog buns not being crispy enough.

The menu states lobster soup and lobster roll, though it is actually langoustine - they do say on the menu that it is langoustine so just be mindful when ordering. The price of the roll is also quite steep, though understandably it is located at a tourist location.
Apart from that, I think the langoustine was quite nice, though the hotdog bun could really be better prepared. It would have been more appetising if the bun was more crisp or grilled or toasted.
Really good lunch options there, seatings infront of the boothes, toilets are near, service was quite fast! It took only three minutes to have sandwiches ready. The two sandwiches are halal. The girl there was really nice and helped us to choose.
