You could just head to any shopping centres and buy it from China Mobile. For nightlife you can hit up found 158, it’s a bar/clubbing district with lots of options. However for some clubs you might only be allowed in if you have a table booking.

I’m currently in Shanghai! Leaving today though.
If you go to 中国移动 they have an 18 yuan plan. Use your passport. It includes 1gb of data a day and then further 1gb for 1 yuan 🙂

What are you using to get around the Facebook block? My VPNs would only work for 20-30 minutes before getting cut off in China.

Ah nice I'm in Shanghai too! Yeah China mobile is your best bet there should be random stores on the street that could help you out with that or shopping centers.
Haidilao for hotpot, yangs dumplings, and any of the random street stalls selling jianbing, cong you bing, and anything else are good too.
