I read somewhere (the link escapes me) that New Zealand wasn't accepting foreign travelers (from anywhere, not just the US) until late 2021...but I went in late Sept 2018 and it was the tail end of winter moving into spring. Snow was all over South Island but it was pleasant in North Island. But hey it's NZ and you can experience all four seasons in one day like we did 😂 Either way, have such a wonderful trip. I'm taking my parents "motor homing" there as soon as it's safe to do so. New Zealand is my soul country. I got engaged there ❤️

NZ is a Great destination anytime. Remember, if its Summer in the USA, it’s Winter down under!

There’s almost no chance NZ will be open. The small chance would be that you all get vaccines by then and they accept that. Summer there is our winter. If you’re willing to get a vaccine maybe plan for end 2021!
