Any recommendations on things to do in Lake Tahoe?

It’s stunning! So many fun bars and skiing galore. Dog sledding. Truckee is a fun town. Mt. Rose has such friendly staff. Squaw is an Olympic village. Northstar is the fabulous one $$$ and Heavenly is a tad cold. All beautiful and can’t go wrong. Lots of tubing and snowmobile fun. Nevada side has gambling.

We are still in the middle of a pandemic and California is struggling. Things will not be back to normal bars and social wise. If you enjoy skiing, snowboarding or in general being in snow that’s cool but the rest of it will be very different also note most resorts will not be doing advanced ticket sales and are on a lottery system and may re shut down if there are out breaks. Please follow protocols, we are struggling here in California, mostly because many Californians are stubborn but people going in and out constantly is not helping either. Also please remember that resort towns have limited resources so an outbreak could be devastating, please please keep everyone’s safety in mind while traveling and take all precautions.

Tahoe is beautiful in the winter! Not sure what COVID will be like in January.

Kirkwood is amazing. Best ski resort. You can also snowshoe, cross country ski. Lots of winter activities.
