its horrendous but depends what time as well. avoid too early like 8-10am or 7-8pm as those are the rush hours hahha but its still doable just take uber everywhere. its safer and cheap anyways 🙂 also try going to binondo manila for food hunt, there’s so much to choose from local filipino food and chinese food 🙂 enjoy!

it's horrible. idk if it's still there but take this thing called "angkas" which is uber for motorcycles. you need a local cell # (easy to get at the airport/anywhere) and they make you wear a helmet. these bikes weave in and out of traffic so it helped me get around quickly.

It’s honestly the worst! Just use Grab (Philippines’ Uber) as a way of transportation, it’s pretty cheap. AVOID TAXIS cus once they find out that you’re a tourist, they’ll definitely over charge you. I was there last summer and used a tricycle for 30 mins and they charged me 1000 pesos ($20 USD) and I was told by my family that it was way too much. As for the local food, it’s always good to ask around! Most of the locals are more than happy to help!

Def use the grab app! There’s also a section outside the airport for grab rides.
