Pipestem State park is one of my favorite parks in WV. I think all the state parks welcome dogs. I also second the New River Gorge area for wonderful hikes. "Pipestem Resort State Park Pet Policy" https://www.bringfido.com/lodging/125158?amp=on

We take the dog kayak and rafting on all the flat water trails. Most trails are dog friendly #mountainstatetravel #gettuckered #visitwv

Anyone have recommendations on what to do in Mississippi and Alabama 🤣. I can’t find anything for with or without dogs

I have so many recommendations! The area around Seneca Rocks, WV is awesome. Hike to the top of Seneca Rocks. There is an incredible ridge line you can traverse just be careful with a dog. The highest mountain in WV, Spruce Knob is nearby and the views from the top are awesome with so many hiking trails around the mountain. Also- if you want to do something without your dog, NRocks also nearby is the only Via Ferrata on the East coast and it was the coolest experience of my life!! Also, hiking to Lionshead rock is cool and the Dolly Sods wilderness is gorgeous. WV is incredibly underrated.
