I'd do a search and see if anything isn't going on due to covid, but from what I've heard you're probably in the clear in FL lol

For food: Ulele, Haven, Columbia, Bern’s Steakhouse (if you don’t want to eat there, it’s def worth it to make a reservation for the dessert room)
Bars: Ciro’s Speakeasy, Anise, Gin Joint
Museums: Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa and Tampa Museum of Art or The Dali and Chihuly Collection both in St Petersburg.
Beaches: Def check out a beach or two! Treasure Island, Clearwater...
Fun: Busch Gardens, Tampa Riverwalk. Walk or rent a bike from Hyde Park to Bayshore boulevard and back through the cute neighborhoods

Busch Gardens is a blast.
St Pete has great bars and restaurants. Might even be some live music starting at Jannus Landing.
Ybor is party town.
If you're looking a nice beach near Tampa, Siesta Key is beautiful. Lots of bars and restaurants there, too.

I went from texas all the way to England two months ago, it’ll be fine 🤷🏻♀️.
The flight was so empty which made it nice to shave extra room to stretch out
