I've never heard or a ferry from Quintana Roo to Cuba before I didn't think they did that but sounds fun!

I don't think that's a thing anymore. You would need a private boat or something. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it has to do with the rules of the Cuban govt

I flew from Cancun to Havana in Nov 2019 and it was super easy and fast. Visa was $25 . However it was on InterJet and they are now out of business and I’m not sure if anyone else is flying the route. I’m hoping someone else will pick it up as I would love to go back to Cuba.

You will have to do a hotel quarantine when you arrive in Cuba. First of all you need a negativ pcr 72 hrs before flying. In paper form. Then you will be tested upon arrival . You get the answer usually witin 48 hrs after that you can use the hotel facilities. On day 5 you get tested again and if negativ you can leave the hotel on day 7.you need to wear a facemask in public spaces as well.
