I live 15 minutes from NF. The border is still closed. Bummer Canadian side is Way Better than our side.

It's more like 8 hours from the city. I've done it in a day but I left at 4 am and got home around midnight. Thank God I love to drive.

I'd definitely stay overnight if you can. You could also check out other cities on the way, Rochester and Buffalo are right there so as not to make an 8 hour drive for a quick visit to the falls. :)
