What are some must-see places, must-eat foods in Egypt?

I've been to Egypt 3 times within 2 years. Yes, it's that great! In 17days I'd recommend you spend some time in a resort on the red sea; Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh. The water is really clear& beautiful and great for snorkeling and scuba diving with beautiful reefs. We also did the Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan visiting all the temples and taking in the history. Flew from Aswan to Cairo, after a quick visit to nubian village. In Cairo you have the pyramids, the museum, Ali Palace and many more sights and experiences. If you want some more calm and beach visit the North Coast, on the Mediterranean Sea, again beautiful, lush clean water.

Are you traveling in a group ?
If not you need to be very careful of the locals and vendors at sites. They will charm your socks off
I have been traveling here for 6 years and lived here all through Covid
As for places to visit they are endless
For history make sure you go to Aswan and Luxor
Hot Air Balloon over Luxor is spectacular
For beach and snorkeling then Dahab has a great atmosphere
So much to see you will want to come back

@Cary Erdman I have been to Egypt 5 times in the last 3 years, I can’t recommend you enough to have a reputable tour guide, I would love to connect you with mine if you like. I loved camping overnight in the White Desert, don’t miss out the opportunity to scuba dive or at least snorkel at the Blue Hole in Dahab, must do a Nile River Cruise down to Luxor and Aswan and visit the Nubian Villages. On my next visit my friend will be taking me to an oasis I forgot the name of it. If you have any questions don’t hesitate contacting me.
