Love both but got married at the breathless resort in punta Cana. Adults only. Super fun. I’m a travel agent and have sent many people there and they all love it. And I usually have deals with their resorts. Bahamas I’ve done with cruising so don’t all of the resorts there personally

I’m from St. Thomas. Renting a car is not bad. We do drive on the left. It honestly depends on how long you are staying in St. Thomas. It’s worth it if you do excursions in St. John. It will save you by just taking the auto ferry and driving around.

Hi. I have been to both different times. If you go to Punta Cana the good thing is that everything you need to do is nearby. Lots of water sports, dune buggies, caves, etc. if you go to Jamaica (which I love) be prepare to be on the road for a couple hours each way into Ocho Rios for many of the more touristy things like Dunn’s River Falls. I like the convenience of Punta Cana or if you go to Jamaica stay in Ocho Rios and then you can be more central to what most tourists do.

Isla Saona!! No ziplining but it was great (lunch bottomless rum and cokes included) was like $60 (barter on the beach though)

Don't let people 'escort' you and your bags in the airport they expect money.

Secrets Cap Cana is amazing! All inclusive. You definitely need to do Monkeyland. Also the atv tours are really cool and swimming with dolphins.
