We been to Bali, but haven’t see much of toddlers! The water there is not much at all! But they are very good of taken care of anything and everything with a price. Very accommodating and treated you like royalty again with a price.

based on those 3, and covid rates plus costa, i would say your best bet is turkey and greece. costs in turkey are reasonable, Greece can be if you avoid the tourist spots. look up the Peloponnese region of Greece, i did a week road trip in that region, the scenery was outstanding and it doesn’t see as much tourism as the islands but has tons of history, so much cheaper than crete, los, rhodes etc , plus no ferry hopping costs involved

Cancel kuta and rebook elsewhere. There are a million other options. Kuta is an Australian mega center. Nothing is authentic and nothing is locally owned. Go to northern Bali or western Bali or even south toward Uluwatu. If you’re feeling adventurous explore other islands such as Lombok or Sumba. Indonesia is SO much more than Bali!

Hi Lauren, I live in Bali since 4 years. October it's a beautiful month in Bali and then from middle November usually starts the rainy season. In the past years the rain actually started in Bali in February but last year it was raining a lot already in December. Weather is unpredictable but consider that also if raining it will still be warm and it will not rain all day, mostly if you stay close to the beach.

There’s also lots to do in Ubud as a family I would say (monkey sanctuary for example, lots of temples). Seminyak is by the beach and good for surfing but also more of a nightlife area so depends if you have young family it may not be ideal.

Indonesia is unfortunately still closed to tourists, but hopefully that changes soon! There’s so much to see and do, what kinds of things do you enjoy? You can get by fairly cheap depending on if you plan to drink a lot. Alcohol is one of the more expensive things due to import taxes. But if you eat local food, you can get meals for about $1-2 USD, western food for about $10. Hotels can run anywhere from $10/night to $1000. Really depends on the experience you are looking for!
