No, but I've been to Bali and just being there and experiencing the culture and beauty of the country in and of itself is a retreat! You must go!

Part of it will boil down to how long you cab/want to be gone. Some of those travel times even when airplanes were flying lots of routes are no joke and will take a bite out of a modest length vacation. By 2023 the number of plane routes are unlikely to have recovered so long trips may take longer than they did before.

It probably won’t be open yet in July. I wasn’t crazy about Ubud, it was ok for a day or 2 (for the monkey forest and some massages) but it was just very very very touristy. I preferred Canggu and gili islands instead which were still touristy but not as pretentious

If your not wanting to do a long flight,, Turks and Caicos!!! They have a few all inclusive places right on the beach.

I love love love love love love love love love love Bali. The people are sweet, the scenery is breathtaking, your $ goes a long way. It’s seriously paradise and you’re going to have a freaking blast. It’s a great go to for many of the Germans I’ve met living here in Munich. It’s mentioned a lot. Have I mentioned I love Bali? 🤣been several times. Enjoy! Stay safe and well

But better I will keep you update more closer to your travel dates...due to the Pandemic, some hotels and restaurants may not will open again. How many days are you planning in Bali? Ubud is a must see and Nusa Penida also.

Canggu is really nice. I’m not a massive fan of Kuta and Seminyak but it depends what sort of things you want to do or see. Uluwatu should be on your list too.
