Adding on from Fion, don’t forget to check out the capital city of Msia, Kuala Lumpur, with the twin towers. SS15 (30-40mins from central Kl) is the heart of bubble tea, with one street having 8-10 bubble tea stores and about 14 around that area

If you fly to Jakarta, there’s a lot of trains where you can take to go to other parts of Java. You have to fly to go to Bali tho. Also there’s an MRT to go around Jakarta.

if you guys like to party, Koh Phangan during full moon is THE best stop... quite mendokusai but totally worth it

Batam and Bintan (both Indonesian islands) are boat rides away. Johor Bahru (Malaysia) is a train/bus ride away. The many other places (e.g. Penang in Malaysia) can be reached by bus but flight would save you the time. Other popular destinations are Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Bali, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Siem Reap etc. The options are pretty much endless because Singapore is well-located and well-connected. But Singapore has her own islands that I would reccomend visiting, such as Pulau Ubin. Don't treat Singapore as just a springboard to other cities☹️

Omg. SO MANY AMAZING THINGS. My instagram has some really good places in bali @travelocindy cause I can't recall them all... but the Rice fields (that iconic swing photo). Getting a driver is your best bet at getting around Ubud successfully and easily

I live in Bali and I would be very surprised if they open their borders by July. You may want to wait to purchase your ticket. They change their minds all the time. Nothing is guaranteed here.
