Siesta Keys west coast Florida and Miami Wynwood area east coast. Very up and coming and trendy spots to hang out and eat. Plenty of Uber/lyft options and staying in Wynwood/Midtown you are only about a 15 min ride to airport or a 15 min ride to south beach. Don’t stay on South Beach if you’re trying to be coat efficient. It’s beautiful down here. I am actually leaving right now and heading home to Boston. This was the first vacation of my birthday month! Kicking off 43 with a bang!

St louis arch, busch stadium for a game, st louis zoo is amazing, toasted ravioli on the hill neighborhood, St Louis art museum in forest park which is bigger than Central Park in NYC.

Junction, Texas: a little closer to get to has a River to float on, South Llano. Good bbq and very small population. Sweetwater: has an annual rattlesnake roundup festival Coleman: (my dad’s hometown) has Rancho Loma vineyards which owns a pizzeria and serves ribeye as well! Def recommend. Lots of murals downtown too now. Drive 15 min to Valera for Big O’s bbq and mile high meringue pie. 45 min from Abilene Cross Plains: home of the author of Conan the Barbarian books
