Q&A About Egypt

What advice do you have for a trip to Egypt in November?
I’ve done all of these. Went to Egypt September 2020. There were no tourists. Recommend going to Abu Simbel (that requires a flight to Aswan) and hot air balloon at Luxor. Pack unlimited patience for Egypt 😂 I saw northern lights in Alaska. I had no luck in Iceland. That’s a tricky one. Need KP 6+ and clear skies

What are some must-see places, must-eat foods in Egypt?
I've been to Egypt 3 times within 2 years. Yes, it's that great! In 17days I'd recommend you spend some time in a resort on the red sea; Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh. The water is really clear& beautiful and great for snorkeling and scuba diving with beautiful reefs. We also did the Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan visiting all the temples and taking in the history. Flew from Aswan to Cairo, after a quick visit to nubian village. In Cairo you have the pyramids, the museum, Ali Palace and many more sights and experiences. If you want some more calm and beach visit the North Coast, on the Mediterranean Sea, again beautiful, lush clean water.

When is the best time to visit Egypt with the best weather?
End of January. Cairo was mid-60’s to low 70’s. The further south it got warmer. Probably low to high 70’s. Perfect traveling weather. A few mornings when we got up early for sightseeing were colder than that.

Can I enter Israel and Egypt with the other country's stamp in my passport?
1) You best update your post to mention that you don’t plan to travel during Covid or the peanut gallery will arrive shortly. 2) Israel doesn’t stamp passports anymore.

Do you have any tips, guidance, cheap hacks, local contacts or advice on solo female travel for Oman, Jordan, Israel, Jerusalem, Egypt, Lebanon, Iran, Tunisia, or Morocco?
I’m so envious- what an incredible trip!!! Well, I suggest Wadi Rum and Petra is a must. Also Dead Sea though the big resorts right in the water will be pricey. I suggest for that area to contact Mohammed who owns Sunset Camp in Wadi Rum. Plan a stay there and ask him for the contact of Mohammed the driver who lives in Taybet and could take you to Petra, Aqaba Port, and Dead Sea. https://m.facebook.com/pages/category/Tour-Guide/Wadi-Rum-Sunset-Camp-407473845980437/ I travelled solo there each time and felt very safe. Even slept in the desert camp alone and never worried. In fact, I wanted to sleep outdoors so he set up a bed for me in the pickup truck since I felt uneasy to be directly on the ground. He can organize canel treks, rock climbing, etc.

Any recommendations on places to stay and things to do in Egypt and Turkey?
Hot air balloon ride in Luxor!! Set aside money for the oils they sell in Egypt (I wish i would have bought more). I loved having a guide, so finding a reliable guide, in my opinion, is essential! Hope you have a wonderful time when you get to go 💚💜💙

Any recommendations on places to stay and must-see sights in Egypt?
How exciting!!! Egypt is fast-paced. I would rather kennel my pup at home for my first trip there. The flights are long. If you’re staying for a month or so, then that’s a different story. You can easily find guides.
