Def do the RIU! You can view the arch right from the resort. And it’s close enough to downtown, just a short cab or bus ride

Any recommendations on best luxury hotels in Baja California Sur?
In Cabo now. Just arrived and not impressed so far. Lots of drunk college students. We are here for the whales and hopefully can find areas to escape the obnoxious tourists. We were just in La Paz and loved it. Much more relaxed and natural. Stayed at Hotel El Moro which was very nice and reasonably priced. Swam with whale sharks today and yesterday, plus sea lions. Went out with an excellent guide (happy to share her info if interested).
Years ago I stayed at a great beachfront B&B in Todos Santos but can't remember the name.

What is the better vacation destination, Waikiki or Cabo?
We stayed at the north shore and traveled all around the island. 🙂 they had amazing beaches in Hawaii!

Which place would you recommended if I'm looking for beaches with clear water, Cabo or Waikiki?
Cabo. Hawaii as a whole is way stricter with covid rules. You have to get a very specific covid test that cost $100 and has to be done at the airport no older then 72 hours from your flight.

Any recommendations for restaurants, and sightseeing in Cabo San Lucas?
Highly recommend whale watching in bahia Magdalena,la paz and it s beaches(Balendra is stunning)isla espiritu boat tour and swim with sea lions..it s a bit away from los Cabos but if you have a car it s easy to reach.Enjoy!

Do you need the FMM for driving to Valle de Guadalupe, BC, Mexico from LA for less than three days?
YES! I get it every time I cross the border with my car. I'm in San Diego. It's inexpensive and then you don't have to worry.

Grand solmar or playa grande at the end of Cabo! Both are gorgeous and have the best food. Are also walking distance to the marina and downtown area!
