I really liked the Hilton Nordica. It’s within walking distance of the city center, although they give you bus passes if you ask.

What are recommended food and activities for a couple visiting Reykjavik?
I am going in June!!! So excited! I am taking my 19 year old niece to replace her trip we were going to go on last summer! Following for suggestions. We are doing the Ring Road.

MOMs (Girls LOVE Travel ®) might be a good place to ask about the kid specific recommendations. Unfortunately, I haven’t made it to Iceland yet so I’m not much use in that regard.

Any advice/recommendations for hostels, activities, restaurants in London or Reykjavik?
2 days in Iceland isn't nearly enough... there's not much to do in Reykjavik, so you really need to rent a car to visit any of the waterfalls
pretty much all that's in Reykjavik is the church, the concert hall, a few sculptures, and the Blue Lagoon
