Quaint, nicely designed museum with 3 levels inside and the anfiteatro outside. Well curated and organized showing Roman and Chieti history. Entrance fee of 5€ and audio guide is free. Wish I could have spent more time here
Nice place, great architecture, great views from this aria
Maybe today I was the only visitor, except for a group of schoolchildren who were trying to revive the past. Most successfully. The museum has a small and impressive collection. Especially the reconstructed temple elements are interesting and well displayed. The museum is well designed modern place. Spacious. So if you are interested in modern architecture, you should not miss this building.
The exterior, theater etc. is not that impressive and not that well preserved but the interior, the museum, is really nice with some impressive exhibitions.
There are a lot of artifacts, but the only headsets are in Italian so you don't know what you are seeing. There's very little in writing to explain.
For a place that is pretty far off the beaten path, they have a shockingly good collection of Roman artifacts. Definitely worth poking around for an hour or two if you ever end up here.
The museum is small and poorly kept. It's a shame since the potential is huge, and some of the historical objects are super interesting. Overall, it's a sad reflection of how underfunded such things are in the region. There was a complete lack of information about the objects displayed as apparently, during covid, information panels were removed and never hung back. Audioguides are available but only in Italian.
The restored (low on authentic details) outdoor Roman theater is still used for concerts and venues. The museum supporting the theater is a nice introduction to what was excavated in the near vicinity of the theater.

Amazing place for an evening walk into Chiete alto. Usually find parking below the wall
Wonderful area to walk in tranquility listen to the birs singing..
Beautiful shaded garden, with different play areas. I wish we had a scooter for our daughter to zoom around the garden.
I love how this park is staying true to its history and had the city remake the benches to their well-known and peculiar shape. I'm also happy that over the years they made an effort to upgrade the park and make it more modern.
Fantastic place for marriage pic ..

Went for italian cuisine, everything was closed except for KFC
The best shopping mall in Abruzzo. A must see.
Extremely big shopping mall. You get what you need but as far as I know there is no good electronic store. Maybe I did not find or see it
A bit far but plenty of shops and with huge parking area
Great shopping mall. All the big names and Many good coffee bars.
Good amount of shops, definitely a place to go by car as walking there is a bit of a trek from the main road with almost no places to cross safely marked. It has a nice terrace on the food court which is nice in sunny days. There are no buses from the Chieti train station that stop here either. There is Primark planned to open here in 2022, would definitely go back once that opens. Zara and H&M shops are really good, nice big selections on both and good prices.
I had a great time, one of the best centro commerciale in Abruzzo, there are different good stores with good workers
We visited on a Saturday, and there was plenty of parking and the crowd was not horrible- as I expected it to be. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out. If you’re driving an RV / Campervan, there’s plenty of space to park!
