Super nice beach, definitely worth the hike down there and the dip in the water after the hike is very rewarding and enjoyable. Important to mention that there is a parking not so far away from the beach (20mins walk +/-), we did not know and walked from Marina de Camerota (1+ hour).
Very nice clear water. Would recommend parking near Spaggia Pozallo and walking to the beach from there. Roads to get there have a lot of potholes and are very rocky (we parked a bit before the parking lots). Was a 35 min hike according to Google maps. Some parts are quite steep and go through forest. Managed to do it in flip flops but would recommend running shoes with decent grip. Trail is marked by small red bows on tree branches and also by piles of rock forming arrows to show which direction to take. No amenities nearby. Would recommend to bring water shoes and something comfortable to sit on since beach is all rock (can be a bit uncomfortable). Would not recommend for anyone pregnant or traveling with very young children.
Not easy to reach (you should either come with a boat or leave your car next to the camping village ROMANO and walk through the mountain path for about 40 minutes), but the place is really beautiful and with visiting. Theoretically one can come with a car closer to Cala Bianca, but the road there has not asphalt. One negative point though: the mountain path to the beach is quite smelly and in many places is probably being used as a public toilet... The beach itself is very clean.
Unique place, a must see if you are nearby. One of the most beautiful beaches around
The most beautiful of the sorrounding area. Needs trekking to reach but it's worth the walk. No bar or services there.
Beautiful white stone bay with crystal clear water. You must anchor up 200 from shore and swim in.
Amazing spot! It was quite difficult to rich that place (poor fiat 500) but it was a true pleasure!
Marvelous beach where enjoy some relax alone or in good company.

Actually in this park you have more to imagine than to see, but for its importance for the development of occidental thought and for some uniquities I highly reccomend it. Here you can see the only one Greek Arch discovered in the world. Velia/Elia gave birth to Parmenide and Zenone , two of the most important philosopher of the ancient world whose thought had big influence on Socrates. Parmenide was the first to think that only with rationality one can understand world, and with his intelligence he understood that god need to be, one , with no parts, with no beginning and end, everywere. Zenone, his follower founded the "ad absurdum" way of thinking, of top importance to solve matematical and philosopical problems. On top there is a medieval tower with beautiful seaview. Prepare to climb and descend, so better to have gym shoes and a bottle of fresh water. This archaeological park is still mostly uncovered: only 10% of the area is carved out.
What an interesting place! I would love to start by informing you that it's definitely not worth buying the souvenirs at the start of the park. Moving on I'd say you've gotta be fit if you're thinking about visiting this site or else it will probably not be worth the effort. What I'm trying to tell you is that it's honestly just a bunch of rocks here and there and next to being athletic you're also gonna need a lot and I mean A LOT of imagination. To sum everything up: would I consider myself satisfied? Yes. Would I redo it? Absolutely not
Visited as part of a combined ticket with Paestum (visited the previous day). Good information boards throughout the site. Helpful staff at visitor centre. Fresh water fountains dotted around the site can be be used to refill own bottle; was incredibly hot so this was a welcome bonus. Combined with visit to Paestum, Velia gives a good insight into how people lived up to 3,000 years ago.
Visited on Tuesday afternoon in September 2025 no queue for the entrance. Handy toilet near start of the site. Large area to walk around to see the ruins, we downloaded the app for the guided tour but this didn't work as no volume ( we are not tech savvy say may have been us). The information boards are in Italian & English so no problem understanding what the buildings were. Enjoyed visit & highly recommended. Ticket at 15euors per adult included entrance to Paestum site also
Quietly interesting but needs a lot of walking to explore
This was an awesome experience. Beautiful runs with so much history. The apostle Matthew’s remains were kept here for 400 years. Truly amazing!
Really interesting ruins with good explanations in Italian and English. Easy walking route, but it is hot so take a hat and some water.
Velia was interesting but very hot and quite a slog climbing uphill. It is not like Paestum but we felt we had to go as we had the joint ticket.

Sandy spot flanked by sea caves, with shallow water for family swims, lounger rentals & beach bars.

This is the best beach in Marina di Camerota. The water is crystal clear and very clean. The view is incredible, surrounded by caves and long distances of shallow sea floor. The public part can get a bit crowded so make sure to plan ahead. The private areas were also full, just in case that seems like an option.
Nice beach. When ordering coffee I apparently did it wrong, since the baristas exchanged a few "ignorante", so that was not so nice. Coffee was good though.
Nice beach but expensive
Lovely little beach a smallish public part with also 2 lido
The best water in the all area !!!
The beach with sand, very good for family with kids.

Great place to stay in Marina di Camerota!
(Translated by Google) Wonderful holiday!!! The residence is very clean and well maintained with a small oasis of greenery surrounding the structure. The swimming pool is very nice and is always clean. A silence and peace that help you relax, also thanks to the selected customers. Excellently positioned to easily reach both the center and the sea with its beaches. The rooms are comfortable, the staff super efficient always ready to solve any difficulty. A round of applause to Carmelo for his availability and kindness. I will definitely go back. (Original) Vacanza stupenda!!!
(Translated by Google) Overall, it's a beautiful resort. The exterior is very well-kept, full of greenery, and there's a lovely pool. However, the cleanliness inside the apartment was terrible. As soon as I arrived, I checked the sheets, and they were full of hair. After requesting a change (they were super helpful with this), I noticed that even the ones that were supposed to be "clean" had hair on them. So, I recommend changing the laundry. There was dust in some places (the bedside table, under the bed). Also, for five people, the apartment was a bit small. Another tip is to put rubber pads under the chairs, because ours made a lot of noise, even if you moved them a centimeter. And in the morning and night, the noise from the neighbors' chairs was constant. A plus is the air conditioning, one for each room. It offers parking and a beach umbrella, and is in a good location. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need. So, with a few extra touches, this residence could be the ideal place for a quiet stay in Marina di Camerota. In alcuni posti (comodino, sotto i letto) c’era polvere.
(Translated by Google) We stayed a week in June renting a two-room apartment and had a great time. The residence is really very beautiful, elegant and very well looked after. The apartments are on the ground floor with patio and on the first floor. The interiors are new and what's more they had the complete Sky channel package. The very beautiful swimming pool and the entire exterior kept to perfection, thanks to Mr. Carmelo, a point of reference for us throughout the holiday. The sea, however, is a little distant and it is difficult to walk, especially on the way back where there is a climb because the residence is located in the center of the town. Lido associated with Franco's Beach. There is no daily shuttle at scheduled times. You need to call the beach and make arrangements for the return trip. Mr. Alfio always very available. For shopping, Spesamica supermarket, about 200 m down the road. Conad about 400 m. on the main road. Opposite the Conad, the Forno Pizzeria "Cosentino" is an institution in Marina di Camerota. Another shop on the seafront. It is also an excellent diner for lunch and dinner. Pizza slices €2 each. plus other delicacies and fried foods. In the morning he bakes delicious croissants with various fillings for €1 each. Even in the evening after 10.30pm. for €2. Happy holidays everyone!! Buone vacanze a tutti!!

(Translated by Google) We stayed in the last week of July, my family and I, a total of 4 people, apartment with very spacious and ventilated rooms Super recommended, excellent cleaning, excellent location both for the beaches and for going out in the evening, after a day of sun and beaches the swimming pool is excellent for relaxing on board. Carmelo always present for anything.
(Translated by Google) Small residence, very well looked after. Excellent position to reach the town's beaches (approximately 500/700 metres) and the centre. Very quiet, with a small pool, but perfect for children. An added value is certainly Mrs. Graziella and Mr. Carmelo, always kind, available, ready to solve any customer need. I have often seen them working even on their day off, and this helps to understand what exceptional people they are. I hope to return soon. (Original) Residence piccolo, molto ben curato.
(Translated by Google) We just left the residence with a heavy heart. We spent a wonderful week here, where we had everything we needed, from the very comfortable and well-maintained interior and exterior location to the friendliness of the management and staff (Carmelo). The only advice I can give families with strollers is to check if there are shuttles to the beach, as otherwise it's a bit inconvenient due to the long climbs and descents. We enjoyed taking them to work off some of the culinary excesses we'd had, because the food they offer in the south is truly delicious. Overall, the residence is highly recommended.
