We had the most lovely dining experience at Graham slot in June 2022. We enjoyed the accommodations very much. Our room was lovely with plenty of space and very cozy. The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful with gardens, trails, and a playground! We had dinner at the Gram Slot restaurant, and it was beyond amazing!! My young daughter, 2 teenagers, my husband, and myself all thoroughly enjoyed our three-course dinner. First course was delicious smoked salmon with caviar and vegetables: it was divine. Our second course was the most juicy tenderloin with root vegetables. Our third course was moist chocolate brownie with walnuts; but they accommodated our nut- allergic daughters with apple cobbler. The wine pairings were perfect. The chef and wait staff were splendid. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Had to postpone a private booking due to a death in the immediate family. The venue deliberately didn't respond to mails and calls weren't answered because they were moving to another place or something. Then they refused to postpone the booking because it's a new venue, and had to receive full payment with no service. They didn't even claim part of the responsibility.
How’s our wedding plus reception at Gram Slot. We also booked our all the accommodation. Owner Svend and Exec Chef/Manager Alex were very accommodating for the 60 people in attendance. Accommodation was clean and spacious. Team were very helpful in ensuring satisfaction of our guests. Food quality was fantastic and the wine pairings were perfect. Really recommended!
Returning for the second time, with a two year gap and the development of the place astonishes me! A very nice place to visit and a fine example on how an idea can become a community wide project and commitment.
Their website somehow lacks quite a bit of information about events going on. If there had been more information the trip would have been far more enjoyable. A lot of the things that happen there only happen at a certain time once a day and the information for some of these things were hard to find.
We held our wedding dinner at Gram Slot, and was very satisfied :) The food and location was amazing and we got the bridal suite on the second floor with view of the garden. The only thing we did not understand was why they do not have more weedings at the castle, it is ideal for it :) Pricewise it was really good as well, 21 adaults, 2 kids was less than DKK 20K. Thank you Gram Slot for having us!
Small castle where nearby you can rent a room without AC and sometimes with 1 toilet for 3 rooms.
Omfg. Downtown Abbey eat your heart out! Such a stunning place! The beauty cant be explained or put in words!

This is the 1st church in Denmark that became protestant. They have a 3D painting in the church when you enter to the right. There is a regiment that comes once a week to turn the page of the book which is kept in a small room, to the right side of the alter. This church has writings in German and Danish. They also have service in German.
Beautiful cathedral in the centre of the town. First church to convert to protestant in denmark. Very nice place for travellers to rest for a few mintures. Interior very cool and modern compared to old catholic churches.
Beautiful Cathedral in city center. Awesome from all sides. It was not possible to get in, but I went there late evening.
A must see. Light and cosy. You cannot have been in Haderslev without hving seen the cathedral!
Beautiful, a very impressive cathedral. It is clearly wel cared for and it is great that it is still in use after 700 years
Absolutely beautiful architecture. I found it odd that there were tipping booths with mobile pay notes several places though?
The Biggest Church in Haderslev. and a relly beautiful one i Think Leave a comment

Dyrehaven is an amazing place for a walk or trail run. It's lovely for a walk alone or with friends and family. The view of the fjord is beautiful. The chance of seeing wild deer is very high. There is also a house with tables and benches to sit and eat your lunch pack, a grill under a shelter, a maze in a hedge, and natural playground.
Great spot to go for a walk in nature. Choice of either a 2k or 5k path, both with great views and wildlife.
Lots of deer. The paths are a bit muddy, so bring appropriate footwear 👍
It’s a beautiful park and there are spaces for barbecue.
Nice quiet place to be... walk, bike and listening to the nature...
Perfect place for walking, you can see many deers.
Beautiful park with amazing scenery. Unfortunately i couldn't see any deer due to heavy fog and a lot of families with screaming kids, but it was still a great experience. Very clean too. Will definitely come back.
The most beautiful place 🤩

We got married here! Absolutely smooth, well taken care of - thank you dear Mr Finn Johannsen.
Small musuem with entrance fee. Didnt go in as reviews said most exhibits are in danish. But the shop is quite nice and the staff are helpful. You can learn more about christianfeld online and i suggest just spending the day outside in the churches instead.
It only cost my German partner and my American self around €1000 to conduct our formal wedding here coordinated by a third party. It took about 6 months to plan and legally authorize which is remarkably fast. We were able to take group photos of our wedding party in the historic building surrounded by authentic art from decades past. We were given a beautiful, heartfelt, and quick ceremony. As well as some poetry from the officiant and a Morning Star. We are very happy with our choice. As well as eager to return and commemorate our wedding anniversary for years to come.
"A wonderful, peaceful, and clean place with beautiful nature, and most of the people are friendly. The only drawback is the transportation, as one needs to wait for nearly half an hour or more to catch public transportation.
Lovely place to get married
Really interesting museum. Don't miss the dolls' houses in the basement
The museum is rather small and does not seem to follow any specific story line. But we can’t really tell as all the information is in Danish (and we were not warned about it when buying the tickets in English). In my opinion, there is not much to see inside anyway and it’s definitely not worth the 50dkk ticket. It also does not seem to explain much of why the place is a unesco site. We got more information from the internet and a City Map pamphlet.
Friendly and welcoming 😊

Very simple yet serene church that is part of the unesco world heritage sites. First time visiting a moravian church and was quite pleased by the experience. Had trouble finding the entrance as it closed and you have to open it yourself but it’s the one the south facing the garden. Free entrance and usually no one so you spend some quality solo time here. Best part of christianfeld.
Great place for a wedding ceremony. Beautiful place and only city in Denmark that is on UNESCOs list of preserveable cities. Ceremonies must be planned a head of wedding.
Sobriety at its best! At the request of King Christian VII, the town of Christiansfeld was founded in 1773 by the Moravian Brethren. The church building was the center of this new soberly designed settlement. This austerity is reflected in the exterior and interior of this church. From the outside the church is barely recognizable as such, the small spire is the main ecclesiastical feature. Inside, the church is also a model of austerity: long rows of benches, a pulpit and an organ. Other ecclesiastical elements such as an altar, a baptismal font and statues or Christian images are missing. This church is interesting because of its different austerity.
It's not everyday day you get to see a chruch so simple but yet special. The only thing that runs on electricity is the microphone. All the light in the chruch is through sun light that comes through the windows or candles.
A church quite different from other churches. Located in the heart of Christiansfeld so go and see the charming little town, this church and finish in a cafe for a refreshment and a piece of their famous bakery. I enjoyed my afternoon there .
Really an amazing church, worth the visit.
This church is very unique compared to traditional Danish churches due to this church being built, and is still in use by, the local Moravians. It is definitely worth visiting this church, even if just to take in the beautiful view inside.

Good place to spend sunny day. It is area nearby small lake. You can rent catamaran there or you can walk around or you can just sit on a grass. Also beautiful place for running or ride bicycle.
I love the geese, they’re all my homies! Ong they got my back always 🫂 I visit them every single day, and it makes me very happy. They’re so cute, adorable and my little cutie pies!!!! I love to hand feed them, and when some of them were babies they even let me pet them. They often run after me when i walk past, chew a little on my fingers and make cute noises. People often hate on them and misunderstand them to be some vile creatures, but they’re not. They’re very friendly! They’ve never attacked or bit me, only hissed at me but that’s just cause they’re suspicious of us too. They have chewed on my fingers when being a little greedy for bread, but it’s doesn’t hurt and it’s actually super cute! I love them all! They’re my family for real!❤️😓
Very nice park. There was an event when i visited with lots of locals about the past Danish heritage which is very interesting.
It was nice to take a walk around the park on a summers day. There is a carpark nearby along with kiosk and toilet facilities. Pedalo rental was also available.
The park itself was amazing, but we happened to saw Vikings day, so it was extra attraction.
Super place for spend some time with family.
Nice place to sit and relax enjoy a ice cream or use the public rest room. There was also a boat tour. And nice play area for kids
Bring a blanket I you intend to sit om the ground, enjoy a ride om the water, ice cream, or enjoy the view from one of the benches
