The artist was great, but the venue organization was not! Terrible organization, from security check, to merch line, to food and drink. I also got hit by one of the security guy!
There was no sign about where to go, and when asked, the staff members seem really rude, with some not speaking English at all.
There was a huge line waiting to get merch, and the staff tried to organize us in a snake-like line, but there was no tape or bar to help guide the line. We were told that there was a merch line inside the hall and there were less people there, so we went in to queue there. But the line moved extremely slow!! We weren’t far from the stand, but we stood there for over an hour and the line only moved three times. It was as if there wasn’t even any staff there, or people were taking a crazy amount of time trying to buy a light stick but I doubt was the case.
And don’t even mention the food line. There was only ONE bar opened for the entire floor. I don’t know about the upper floors, because we weren’t allowed to go up or down. So yes, one bar, for the entire floor, and so the line stretched all the way till the end of the stage. I remember the bars outside were closed too when we were there.
In the end, they closed both the merch and food stand abruptly to prepare for the performance, leaving people thirsty and hungry. And when they tried to hurry people to their seats, one of the security guy smack my arm. It was not accidental, because he then told me to go to my seat. I mean, you could just speak to us, why do you need to hit people?!
This was my second time to this arena. The first time was for Taylor Swift concert, and everything went smoothly then. I don’t remember it being this bad.
This was very unfortunate because I enjoyed GD’s performance very much…
