Termoli

Termoli is a fishing town on the Adriatic coast of Italy. The old town, or Borgo Antico di Termoli, stands within ancient fortifications. Inside these walls, pastel-colored houses line narrow streets. Also here are Termoli Cathedral, with intricate mosaic floors, and the 13th-century Castello Svevo. Nearby, the Belvedere Tower offers views of the harbor. Termoli is also known for its sandy beaches such as Rio Vivo.

beautiful views and lovely little bar all around well worth a walk around stopping of for a drink in one of bars /cafes
Italy is full of wonderful old towns. We've seen many and always like to find some new Centro Storicos or Borgo Anticos. Compared to many other towns, Termoli has a quite small old center. The location is quite beautiful though. Sitting on top of a hill, overlooking the ocean. You can walk all around the historic center, all with sea and port views. Inside the old center there is honestly not that much to see and do. Not just because of Corona. There are just not that many shops or restaurants. Only a handful. It was nice to walk around the small area anyways. But compared to other Historic Center it's quite a quick walk. Still, landmarks like the Castello Svevo with the Belvedere della Torretta, the Cathedral of Saint Mary 'della Purificazione and the Piazza Duomo makes the visit worth a drive. Don't miss out on the new part of town. The Corso Nazionale is a nice walking and shopping street. Surely worth a visit.
Pretty nice Borgo. Lots of restaurants and bars and shops. Nice castle.
It's so beautiful place and the people are much kind 💖
Fantastic old little alleys where hidden there are typical restaurants, trattorie and hand made souvenir shops...Just charming town!
Nice place, well kept and clean enough. Friendly people.
Very pretty medieval village, incredibly well kept, clean. There is a good info point and in the main square there is a nice bar-gelateria with tables on the square.
In the night it's a magic place. Just in the high season is too many people

Beautiful and imposing Cathedral with nice acoustics (we even sang there) and large organ at the back of the church. Peaceful place to visit! 📍 Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Purification, Termoli, Italy
Lovely to visit, fascinating examples of relics and right on the coast so beautiful to walk around, inside and out.
Did not go into cathedral. But the old town is well worth a visit for the food and views
Hidden wonder of South Italy..small but beautiful..Ancient Greek temple transformed into a Church!
(Translated by Google) The cathedral of Termoli is built in the heart of the medieval village and is an interesting example of Apulian-Romanesque style. It dates back to the 12th century and is a work of art worthy of cultural and spiritual interest. The facade of the church is enriched by the statue of San Basso, patron saint of the city, by griffins and dragons, and by some mullioned windows. The interior, with three naves, is austere and meditative, with the figure of Christ dominating the community of faithful from above. Essa risale al XII secolo ed è un'opera d'arte degna di interesse culturale e spirituale. La facciata della chiesa è arricchita dalla statua di san Basso, patrono della città, da grifoni e draghi, e da alcune bifore. This is a very nice place. It's worth parking on the outskirts of town, you can walk for a long time along the beach and in the fort. On the beach there are several restaurants, cafés and ice cream shops with beautiful views of the coast and the castle.
Very close to shops, restaurants and accomodation. A wonderful piece of history to enjoy. The homes in the area add to the character of this area and are kept in great condition.
Nice to look at and to walk around, right next to the sea.
Termoli is a beautiful City. Parking near the harbor. Easy steps up into the town and Castle. Photos from parking area.
Beautiful little seaside community. The old part of town is charming and beach is easily accessed for leisurely strolls. Visited during low season so city was quieter and more enjoyable for us. The castle could only be seen from the outside but nice vistas of the city and adriatic from the top of fortified walls.
I'm not sure why this "Castle" is so highly rated. It's pretty much a turret. There's no way to go inside, and there's really not a lot to it. There are other castles, some distance away, that actually do have rooms, and frescoes, and panoramic views of the countryside. Termoli itself is awesome, and there are a lot of very cool things in the vicinity of this "castle" including terraced houses and walls that can be walked on, but I have no idea why this one is so highly rated.
The place it's really beautiful
We love Termoli, especially the old town part. Perfecto!

The narrowest i ve ever seen
This vicolo offers a wonderful experience. However, it’s advisable to avoid getting too full with pasta and pizza before trying it.
If you are in Termoli for its amazing beach, this is an obvious must see along with the rest of the Termoli Centro Historico. One of the lesser known areas to foreign tourists, but just as beautiful. Next time in Italy, plan some time in the Molise, there is much to see and taste!
This small street is the number 1 in Europe as the smaller roads! Amazing to do! Impossible for me walking normally, to big shoulder! 😄
The center of Termoli in general is very nice and has a very good feeling to it with small roads that all end up with a nice view of the blue sea.
Some tell me it is not the narrowest street, that in fact the narrowest is located in Taormina, Sicily.
The narrowest Street in Italy! Beautiful
Cute place. There is nothing really special about it, however I think you should still go see it, as you can take some cute photos while walking through it. Plus, it is close to a beautiful belvedere!

Very good pizza in an informal set up. Service was good. A fan would have made dinner a more enjoyable experience. It was very very hot
The attitude of the saff is incredible.

(Translated by Google) Lunch on the beach, Bahia Azzurra captivated us immediately. A lovely spot, shaded and breezy, excellent food, and friendly staff. Order the peppered mussels, because, judging by the enthusiasm of the five men next to our table, it must be fabulous!!! We ate very well. (Original) Pranzo in spiaggia, Bahia Azzurra ci ha catturato subito. Luogo carino, ombreggiato e ventilato, ottimo cibo, personale gentile. Prendete l’impepata di cozze, perché, visto l’entusiasmo di cinque uomini accanto al nostro tavolo, deve essere favolosa!!! Mangiato molto bene.

The beach is quiet and nice! You can easily enjoy the sunset and the temperature of sea is warm!
I would like to give this feedback very positive since i ahd an expience in Termoli. The beach is very clean and it can be full during hight season that is normal. The staff is super friendly and speaking English. Close to city center and LGBTQ + 🏳️‍🌈 friendly
Great place, great beach, great bar, amazing hosts!
We had an incredible day in Termoli at Lido Panfilo - the staff are so friendly and always have a smile. The beach is clean, the sunbeds are comfortable and the sea is just beautiful. You get an incredible view of the town centre (which is just a 5min walk away) and the lido also has a bar with delicious food and a huge selection of drinks. What made it especially memorable was how kind Angelo and all the staff are. We live in Campania and drove over for the day as it was my dad's birthday and what a great day out it was. We also brought our dog Lola to the beach for the first time and she loved relaxing in the shade with us. We can't wait to return and it was really easy to book a spot on WhatsApp (we got the number on their website). Thank you for everything Lido Panfilo and see you soon!
Guy in charge of the umbrellas is very aggressive towards tourists. Treats them like stray dogs. What a douchebag. If you're looking for a lido head for those in the north of this coast. This one is a shitty place.
Good location, nice place and beautiful views. Drinks and food on site, well-kept beach. Minus - the head of the facility. Cheeky and devoid of culture, his behavior scares off customers
Excellent place on the beach of termoli. We were so lucky with the weather. Sunny days and nice vibe. We loved our holiday in Termoli. We will go back as soon as is possible . Thanks to angelo and all his family
Lido is reserved for locals in the first place. Tourists not welcomed. If you're a tourist, don't even bother going there. All (positive) reviews here are also done by locals probably.
