I really enjoyed the place. The architecture is amazing, the baths are small but with lots of entertainment and the massage was good. Here and there you do see small areas that could use some repair but I think this added extra charm.
I haven’t enter in termes, I only walked around. It was under reconstruction, but still beautiful inside.
This place is the best place I have ever seen on my way road trips. So beautiful place for walking coffee shop and restaurant... If you are on road trips then you should visit this place.
Fantastic place for your thermal baths and cures. Beautiful building and at the moment under renovation.
Outstanding. The building is rich of History and the different treatment you can do are all good. We went for the "Mari d'oriente - percorsi acquatici" one and it was so fun and relaxing!
The best experience for the eyes and the body

Very beautiful location especially for a wedding!
Perfect wedding place with beautiful park and terrace. At sunset light the castle become magic.
Wonderful place in the hills between Parma and Piacenza. It is worth the visit.
Great food! Must go!

Although not one of the most famous and advertised castles, it is worth a visit. (Original) Castello visitato in data odierna. Luogo incantevole, sia all’esterno che all’interno. Castello di Tabiano holds a special place in our hearts. It has been such an amazing experience choosing the castle for our wedding. Besides the elegance and beauty of this towering fortress, the calmness of the rolling hills and the community that surrounds it speaks so much of its distinct culture and history. It is a perfect destination from the big cities of Milan just 2 hours away by car. If you’re looking a place to reconnect with your family and your inner peace, this is exactly the place to go — truly an amazing underrated location for a great vacation or a private and personal home-away-from-home to stay in. I wouldn’t mind visiting again every other year. Thank you to Giacomo, Ilaria and their staff for sending us off with a big smile on our faces. It was an experience unlike any other.
We had a wonderful Event, organised for our guests, in this extraordinary beautiful castle. Dancing Tango in the "Salone" was unforgettable. The Aperitivo, organised by the extremely friendly and professional team, was delicious and we enjoyed it so much. Mille grazie for this unique afternoon, we will not forget!
We celebrated our wedding at Castello di Tabiano in June and still can’t believe how lucky we are. The location exceeded our expectations and our family and friends were speechless when they saw it. From the very first contact with Ilaria, we had a good feeling. Everything was well organized ahead of the wedding and we always received the replies needed. The day of the event was out of a fairytale and they made all our wishes come true. We felt very comfortable in and around the castle and the whole team including the owners are extremely friendly. We can’t recommend this place enough and we’re happy for everyone who can celebrate a wedding or another event at the castello. We’ll for sure come back!
I spent a month in Italy this summer with my family. I'm Italian (from Parma) but I've been living in Los Angeles for the past 35 years. Searching for a place to host a screenwriting retreat that would also work for a family vacation AND for a wedding, we ran across the beautiful Villa Finetta, a property managed by the wonderful Giacomo Corazza. Giacomo was wonderful throughout the process of booking the location and impeccable and incredibly helpful while we enjoyed our summer vacation at the villa. Villa Finetta and the whole Castello Di Tabiano's organization felt like a dream, a sophisticated, elegant, luxurious dream. I can't thank Giacomo and his staff enough for making the screenwriting retreat, our vacation and our daughter's wedding an overwhelming success. Grazie. We will be back.
What a great discovery, modern and aldo a jump to the past. Far away but still well connected, in the hills, but not far from the plateau. Beautiful view, authenticity, good food and lots of history. The owners are extremely kind and involved in the making you staying very comfortable. Spent and entire weekend and will come back.
An impressive castle with great views. It is mainly used for up-market weddings and events, so guided tours are limited to specific times. Call before to be sure they are open.
The view is amazing. The building is big and is very renewed.
We were lucky enough to have our wedding between the villa Ca de Poi and Tabiano Castello. It was amazing, Giacomo and his staff catered for our every need and request, allowing us to enjoy our day. Our guests commented on how delicious the food was and how friendly the staff were. We had our ceremony at the Castello and our party at Ca de Poi. The Castello provided the perfect back drop for our wedding and our guests loved being able to wander around the beautiful terrace and grounds, taking in the panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Thank you Giacomo for helping us have our dream wedding. We look forward to returning soon for a more relaxed trip.

Very beautiful place! Very kind service. The dishes were exceptionally delicious. The only difficulty is that they don't speak English, but we overcame that too thanks to the fact that they are so nice, kind and have a high level of service awareness. Highly recommended!
Very nice place to visit and eat.

(Translated by Google) A fairytale wedding, the ultimate! My wife and I couldn't have asked for a better location for our wedding day. The Gavinell Botanical Garden is a simply enchanting location, immersed in the green hills of Parma and very private, perfect for creating a magical and intimate atmosphere that stunned our guests. We celebrated on June 28, 2025. The heat and humidity in the city were unbearable, but at the Gavinell it was wonderful. As evening fell, a pleasant breeze sprung up, refreshing everyone. The organization was impeccable, and it's worth highlighting: the timing between the courses was perfect, keeping the celebration flowing at the right pace without any lulls or the feeling of frenzy. The service was superb, with the staff always kind and smiling, as well as possessing the utmost professionalism, which is increasingly rare these days. The menu was exceptional: a rich and abundant buffet, two first courses, a second course, small artisanal pastries made by them, all delicious. We received so many compliments from our guests, especially regarding the quality of the food. Even those with special dietary needs were catered for with exceptional care and attention, from allergies to tailor-made vegan menus. A special thanks goes to Luciano and Paolo, the owners, and their head waiter. They were all there for us every step of the way, with great availability and expertise, helping us organize every detail with peace of mind and confidence: we knew we were in a safe place! The price was incredibly fair for the service we received, and we had complete freedom to customize every aspect of the event: given the warm weather, we decided to eat outdoors in a beautiful olive grove, which we decorated with lights and decorations, creating a magical atmosphere! In short... It's a shame you only get married once! Thank you so much to everyone at Gavinell!

We had a very good time visiting Cantina il Poggio! Our guide, Filippo was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were served generous amounts of bread, food and wine too. The place is amazing, cozy, and inspiring! Our entire group really enjoyed it! The whole tasting lasted for four hours - well, we did not mind the extended time spent in this beautiful winery. I can live there forever! If you visit, do not miss the opportunity to buy fairly priced but delectable wine! Buy some of the olives too!
Amazing experience!!! We went there cos it was the closest vineyard location from our hotel and it was perfect shot. We will give them 11 out of 10, great hospitality, patients, good wines and pairing food especially malvesia whites + pecorino. Above that you r sited with a great panoramic view what could you want more.
I've donne à lot of wineries in Europe and America and I can say that is one is a great stop. They have great wines in a wonderful setting.
First thing first, booking wine tasting at Cantina il Poggio will be the best decision you will make. Starting with Luca’s tour and outstanding explanations on the winery work, history and staff. He was very professional, patient and nice. After showing us the archers, facilities and the winery cellar, he took us to the perfect spot for wine tasting. The wine tasting included 5 different magnificent wines, olive made in the winery, delicious prosciutto from the cellar, Parmesan and grilled tasty bread with the winery olive oil. While the tasting we met wonderful Mattia, who booked the tour for us. He kept telling us beautiful and interesting information on the wine and did it while giving us the sufficient time and space to enjoy the view and experience. We couldn’t leave without buying two bottles of wine and the unique olives that we ate. We will definitely come back to visit!
Amazing place! Lovely environment, super nice wines and great explanation about the winery. Thank you!
We had a great experience, we have tasted great different of wines, the 2 guys did a great explanation for each wine, really friendly. I really recommend to anyone to experience this tasting. They have also olives, olive oil and honey!!!! Amazing
I will start with saying that it was the best winery I ever been in, and you must go there!! It even starts before arrival, we had some problems to arrive at the hours suggested, Mattia did everything to manage and host us at the time that was the best for us. We arrived to the property and Luca took us for a tour in the wine yards and showed us where they grow the olives and the grapes, he explained us about the process of making wine and olive oil and was really patient to our questions. Than we went to the cellar to look at the aging process and the machinery involved, from there we went outside to the tasting area, with view on the wine-yard and the area below. The tasting includes 5 spectacular wines, and some snacks, amazing 30 months aged parmesan, aged prosciutto, grilled bread with olive oil that they made in the winery, amazing olives from the olive trees in the property. Over all we had an outstanding experience, we met wonderful people and drank amazing wine with delicious food. Mattia and Luca thank you!
An informative wine experience, Alexandria is amazing in explaining the process of making wine. Every one of the six wine tasting accompanied by the appropriate food was an eye opener into how wine should be appreciated. 2017 was a unique season so highly recommend the Poggio Red from this year.
