Big beach with very soft sand. Morning is the best time to come because it’s quiet and the water is clean. In the afternoon it gets very crowded in high season and the water gets dirty, but it’s a great time to climb the hill and watch the sunset.

Beautifull place. During our day we rented an umbrella for 5€ and enjoyed big waves. There is free public toilet and life guard.

A great beach with changing cabins, toilets (though better to avoid them by the end of the day), and a place to grab a snack. Sunbeds and umbrellas are €7 each. The only downside is the huge number of people – in the afternoon it turns into a real nightmare.

Nice beach with clear water. Unfortunately there was some small trash in the water during my visit. Otherwise, fantastic! Nice small restaurant/cafe where you can buy small snacks at a reasonable price. Definitely the best beach I visited on Malta!

Great beach with soft sand. Has showers and places to eat and drink. Can get busy but always find spaces to sit. Can hire chairs and umbrellas. There’s parking available if you’re driving and an excellent bus service which run frequently throughout the day.

My partner and I had an incredible first-time diving experience with Aquatica Diving in Malta, all thanks to Lee, our fantastic instructor. His in-depth training and calm, friendly approach instantly put us at ease, making the dive both enjoyable and safe. Lee’s guidance allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the underwater world, and it was truly breathtaking. This experience has not only given me a newfound passion for diving but also opened my eyes to an entirely new world—one I could see myself pursuing as a possible career. If you’re a beginner or even just curious about diving, I couldn’t recommend Aquatica Diving enough. Lee made the entire process seamless, inspiring confidence and excitement every step of the way. It was truly life-changing! Hope to see you again soon to continue this journey!

I originally booked two introductory dives, but was immediately impressed by the clear explanations and the fun sense of humor during the briefing. After just the first dive, I felt so inspired and comfortable with the instructor that I decided to continue and pursue my diving certification with them. Fantastic experience, Emma was amazing. We are both first-time divers and had an amazing experience. The staff were brilliant, making us feel at ease and guiding us through the experience. The most unprofessional team I have ever seen. They are suppose to send you some papers so you can sign them which was already weird for basically renting a mask a tuba. But they send them to me 26 hours before the activity and because I was on the plane I didn’t realize I actually didn’t receive any email. We are now past the 24 hours delay and I when I finally was able to see the paper. I realized that because of a minor medical conditions they didn’t want me to do the activity. But because we were past the delay (which was part of their fault), they didn’t even take their responsibilities to at least reimburse me a certain amount. All of this again for a mask and tuba…

Sightseeing takes only about 20 min. Inside there is a high, steep and very narrow staircase unsuitable for obese persons, persons with mobility issues and agoraphobia. Entry fee is €2. Opening times in the picture were valid on 10.04.2025. For us it was worth seeing.

We enjoyed our visit to the Tower during a lunch break. We learned a little about the Tower's history, and enjoyed some amazing scenery from the top. The map at the top pointed out some Roman baths, which we would otherwise have walked right by without noticing!

Mesmerising and hypnotising time travelling journey. I literally forget to blink my eyes. It’s a glimpse of ancient weapons and accessories from British era at the time of world war 1. And magnificent view of Mediterranean from the rooftop of watchtower. It was originally built in 10of February 1610. Malta’s hidden treasure. ❤️

The oldest standing watch tower in Malta, with a spectacular view of the bay. Well worth 2eur. It’s open from 10am to 1pm only, so great to stop by on your way to the beach

This is a stunning place rich in history. I don't think it would be that great for really young children or the elderly as the steel spiral staircase that leads up to the living area is a doozy! Then there a steps leading up again to the roof, from where the views (right across to st. Paul's island) are simply stunning. Well worth the €2 an adult, children are free, for the views alone. Best to go fairly early, before it gets too hot, as they close at 1pm.

Great view from the base, but couldn't enter the tower and look around from the top - for some unknown reason it was closed, despite the time (12:30) within opening hours. There is a paper card on the doors that say it can happen though...

Excellent walk with lots to see if you include the Roman Baths area. We just followed the route using Google although I did see someone with a leaflet. But rough underfoot, proper shoes for walking. Took us two hours. Some of the information boards are not legible.

What an amazing ancient Roman trail from the Starting point all the way across the valley to the top of the mountain ridge. Traversing woodland, ancient paths, the amazing wild flora and wildlife on the way through, what an untouched place of history to trek through.

Interesting walk with so many ancient sites along it. But it’s really neglected. Whatever signs there are are illegible. I’m surprised nothing more is made of this attraction. The walk is steep at the beginning and uneven throughout but easy to follow. It took me about thirty minutes to walk it.

The site is huge although I'm not sure if it is all accessible from the route we took . There are some interesting caves and ruins to look at. As others have said many of the information panels are weathered and therefore unable to be read. A pleasant walk over rocky paths,with some nice plants to admire along the way . No admission cost .

Very interesting, unusual history site. Many little details that you can take your time to discover- oldest carob tree, ancient bee gathering house, and various caves being just a few to mention. We were lucky to arrive at sunset, enjoying the beautiful view of the harbour. Definitely recommend finding the time to come here, although it it's not that easy to access (proper shoes are advised).

We found an entrance to the heritage walk quite easily. A steady climb on an uneven surface for 5-10 mins takes you to the top. There are a number of small trails that with the help of Google maps helped to locate places of interest. Better signposting would be useful and clear paths. Some of the places shown as photos on some reviews here we never found. It's worth an explore though.

This was an amazing learning opportunity and to be so close to nature in Malta. It is a nature reserve where the birds and other inhabitants stay. The team takes care of it very well. Nimrod was a great host and tour guide. Many fun facts were learned and questions asked. A great time to explore and learn more about sustainability. There is also Salina salt nature reserve It is amazing when you see the birds fly

Was super awesome to see the first nesting Little Ringed Plover and chicks on Malta. Really positive to see the hard work of Birdlife Malta is making such a great difference to conservation and education. Keep up the excellent work!

We wandered in here not really sure what to expect and it was absolutely amazing. Very friendly staff who took the time to chat with the kids and explain the salt pans, and the nearby wildlife. If you want to learn something about the salt pans, and local wildlife, it is worth stopping in while the visitor center is open. Also some good birding in the area.

We walked from the cruise port to go birding here. Many good birds. Check eBird hotspots to see what we saw. Poorly maintained. No signs. Use Google map satellite view to find trail. We started birding when we got to the palm 🌴 Grove. Turn down a side street to the paddle board place. Turn left on un mark trail with wood hand rails. When you get across the stream to a road Turn right. Look for the trail again on right.

We went in late afternoon and there wasn’t a lot of birds. We went back in the morning and it was a lot better. I wish we could get a little closer, they have a lot of the closest walks closed off, but then if they were open there probably wouldn't be as many birds ;)

I enjoy the time spent at this reserve! An oasis and relaxing place, where you can watch birds peacefully. Although located next to one of the busiest roads in Malta we still enjoyed the time spent there.
