Really lovely National Trust property with well informed guides. Beautiful gardens and walks. Holiday trails eg for Easter for kids. House tours happen on the hour from 12pm, and are well worth going to. They have a lovely coffee shop, second hand book shop and a craft shop on site with a large area for sitting and enjoying tea/coffee and snacks. Beneficial to have membership even just for the month of going as you’ll save money that way. Lime tree walk is a lovely shorter walk giving lots to see and ending by the coffee shop!
Excellent visit today at The Argory, the house was an interesting time capsule and Isobel an enthusiastic guide. We did the Blackwater walk and other paths and gardens which were beautiful, accessible and well managed. The Lace making demonstration was a fascinating bonus too. Final shout out to the cafe staff who not only provided excellent coffee and cake but went out of thier way to provide one of out party with with challenging dietry needs something to eat. Thank you all for a lovely day.
Beautiful weather made the day perfect. We started with lunch in the cafe, booked a guided tour of the house for afterwards. It was so interesting, made special by our guide Meadow who has had a strong link with the property since childhood. Later, we strolled through the gardens, admiring the extensive collection of shrubs and trees. Highly recommended.
Lovely house and grounds. Great play park and walks. The holiday activities were a great addition to go around the grounds and find the clues. The cafe was good and the secondhand bookshop meant we came away with books as well.
The Argory is a beautiful Irish gentry house is surrounded by its 130-hectare wooded riverside estate. The former home of the MacGeough family. Outside there are sweeping views, scenic walks and resting areas
It's an interesting and beautiful place.Coffeshop, rose garden, walk routes. The house itself is worth a visit.
I have been to the Argory before and it hasn't changed which is wonderful! Some great walks to be had especially alongside the river Blackwater. A nice place to take a picnic and watch the fisherfolk and the boaters. The lady who did the house tour was both friendly and professional at the same time and was also very knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit, plenty to do especially on a sunny day.
A great spot for a family day out. Beautiful gardens with plenty of open space for a picnic. Took a tour of the house, the guide was very informative with a knowledgeable. There is a cafe on site with tray bakes and pre-made sandwiches etc but would recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks. Overall definitely worth a visit.

I am one of the lucky ones to have Dungannon Park 2 min walk from home it really is a great Park with fishing camping and caravan areas really great walk around the lake and now a dog off leash on nunnery hill for large and small dogs area very good cafe with ice cream coffee tea well kept toilets a must visit to enjoy the great outdoors also a kiddies play ground
First time fishing in 50 years and my grandsons first. Supplied with a lifejacket for my grandson. No luck but other people catching small fish. The lady taking the fee give me a return permit free of charge. Nice gesture and I'll be back.
Very pleasant lunchtime spent here. Did a relatively short walk. Clean and plenty of space.
A pretty park, but the automated entry/exit is not overly impressive , leaving very little wriggle room either side for the car towed caravan or the larger RV. - perhaps at the time, it's designer was thinking more about bicycle entry than anything else. The Speed Bumps are excessively high and why so many on such a short driveway and what's the vertical pole car park 'CHICANE' all about ? So, if you're someone who'd like to hone your driving skills and feel you might enjoy listening to your exhaust system grind it's way along the top of some pretty high Speed Bumps then this could be the place for you ! Have a nice day.
Beautiful caravan site. Very central . Great playing fields. Cricket football etc . Pavilion shoo abd facilities are excellent. Highly recommended.
Great time, fishing in the lake was amazing. Workers in office and toilet cleaners are very understanding and friendly
Beautiful park. Easy parking. Coffee shop & toilets
I love the walks the trees and the smell of nature.

A wonderful park for long walks, with dogs and without. Lots of interesting things to learn as you walk around, historical and natural. Forest, bogland, meadows, picnic areas, playground, a small coffee dock, everything you could want and no steep inclines 🙂
Lovely park, easily accessible off the motorway. Variety of routes with different types of trails, makes for an interesting walk. The playpark is great. Some of the signage along the trails could do with a refresh and a clean, and the train wasn't running due to fallen branches from the storm, but the place makes for a really nice day out.
Great playground. Public toilets. Great boardwalk in the peatland. Many tarmacked trails for scooting/cycling and everything pram friendly. 100% recommended
A favourite place for a walk all seasons - anything from 20 minutes to over an hour. All paths in good condition and flat. Many fully paved accessible paths for pushchairs, wheelchairs etc. Boardwalks and forest trails also on site.
Peatlands Park is a captivating sanctuary, offering a unique escape into nature. The lush peatland landscape is mesmerizing, and the well-maintained paths invite exploration. Wildlife sightings are delightful, especially the diverse bird species. The raised boardwalks provide an educational and magical experience. The facilities are great, with clean restrooms and convenient picnic areas. I have to me too that some of the signs are a bit mossy and hard to read. A must-visit for nature enthusiasts seeking a refreshing escape. Can't wait to return!
Lovely walks around the park with the longest being 5 miles. Allegedly it should take 1.5 hrs to do the 5 miles. Lies, pure lies lol! There’s plenty of parking and toilets at the visitors centre which were open even though the visitors centre was closed on Easter Sunday. Great play park for the kids too. Walks are not really suitable for the less abled bodied due to a mix of track - tarmac, boardwalk, stony uneven parts and wood chipping. There’s a train that takes you around the park that you need tickets for - unsure of the price. Some of the signage needs refreshed and cleaned - hard to read some signage and the red markers aren’t so red now. There’s a few seats along the earlier parts of the walks but few later on when you probably need it. Also, it would be helpful if there was a some indication on the long route of how far you’ve got to go as a motivator. The car park looks like it has security cameras up which is really helpful.
Gorgeous big park ideal for a short or long walk & bringing the dog! 🌳🐶Coffee van is a lovely touch too.☕️ Lots of bins around the entrance but not on the walking routes so much so bear that in mind.🗑️ Good toilet facilities.🚻 Lots of picnic benches which would be great for a picnic or bbq in the nicer weather. 🍔🧺Already can’t wait to go back here after our first visit today. 😃
Nice long walks, several trails of which the longest trail is upwards of 5 miles. All well marked. Will suit most people of varying fitness as there are no steep inclines, paths are all basically flat. Word of Warning don't do as I did on my first visit and go in near to dark, underestimating the length of your trail. I just made it back before dark, so be mindful. Despite being so close to the M1 it really is a place of solitude. There was even a mini train, as evidenced by train tracks, but it no longer runs unfortunately. If you look it up on utube you'll see what it was like. There is a fun playpark for kids, so this is an ideal dayout for families. There are also well maintained toilet facilities. Such a joy

Fantastic shopping experience with beautiful food in Synce & Byrne. Great parking facilities & very clean toilets.
Places like this make me smile, shops selling nothing that anyone really needs or things they do need at prices a normal person couldn't afford. The cafe seems to be where the action is and it was indeed very busy and very noisy, chances are that on a weekday afternoon it is a lot calmer, the cafe staff seeing very competent but also very stressed and although service was excellent at all times I did feel for them. The idea of a canteen service is good people get to see the food they want and can choose and change their minds if necessary however there were so many staff working that table service probably would have worked out better. At least then everybody arriving could know that they would actually have a place to sit once they'd purchase food which wasn't guaranteed I think. Certainly worth popping into for a coffee if you're in the area, the facilities car park etc are spotless and if you really do need have the urge to spend money then this is certainly a place to try. I would definitely return if I was in the area but wouldn't make a journey especially to go there.
I was raised locally to here, so have been to the Linen Green's "The Loft" many times throughout my childhood. I don't live at home any more but make a point of visiting the LG at least once every time I'm home. Recommend the fifteens and if you want something warm I like the cajun chicken panninis. My brother loves the curry and wedges too. Lovey food, friendly staff.
The Linen Green has its pros and cons. Some nice little shops, but there are too many empty shops, solicitors, and health and insurance type businesses to make it interesting enough to travel to. The nice little shops included lavish preferences, great for gifts, Halloween, and Xmas, but Linen Green needs more.
A compact shopping area which offers womenswear, menswear, footwear, homewares and gifts of all description. There is also an apothecary and a spa. Most units in the complex are occupied with only a few vacant at present. For coffee and sweet treats, scones or wraps, you can choose between The Coffee Loft or Synge & Byrne. If you want to learn a little bit about the original linen mill, there is a small museum which is quite informative. You can access it via the coffee loft, (the entrance is opposite the loos).
Little disappointed. Expected a fewxl more shops than there was, though there wete a few vacant premises.
It used to be the place to go whilst visiting Moygashel but like everywhere, there's too many closed down shops and prices are sometimes ridiculous. The loft serves fantastic homemade and delicious food but very expensive. You definitely don't leave hungry.
Liked my visit here. Lots of exclusive shops and the upstairs restaurant is fantastic. The stationary shop is also really good and we purchased our wedding stationary from here. Would give the Linen Green 5 stars only for the parking which can be quite difficult to get parked at during busy periods.

My favourite park of all NI. I truly fell in love with this place. Wandering around the forest is so relaxing. I also love having a look at the deer. The manor is at its best in autumn when all the ivy turns red. A must see in the region!
Lovely forest park a short drive from the main dual carriageway. Several short 1-2km trail walks winding alongside a small stream and under tall forest trees. Plenty of car parking and only losing a star as didn’t see any larger 4km+ trails.
A selection of very nice waymarked short walks and further unmarked paths and trails through the woods. There is a lovely herd of white Fallow Deer there, too. Facilities are limited to toilets and picnic benches. There is also a refreshments trailer located on the edge of the meadow below the car park. Its opening hours seem intermittent in our experience There is plenty of free car parking too. On our last visit in September 2023, we saw little dog-fouling. This was a pleasant surprise because there had been a bad problem in summer 2023. It's worth a visit if you are in the area.
Several trails for walkers of all ages plus dog friendly. Toilets are open but main cafe is not. There is a coffee shack in the car park for drinks and small biscuits or scones. They also have a trail that takes you around or into the deer enclosure .. you really can get close to them but for safety keep a good distance.
Beautiful setting and just overall peaceful place to take short or long walks, lovely place well kept .
Really lovely area to walk around. Could do with more litter bins about but well maintained and sign posted. There's a little kiosk serving hot drinks and food but generator was quite noisy.
Lovely place to go for a walk loved peace and quiet.
Lovely walks through scenic woodland and deer parks. Great picnic spot, toilet facilities and parking
