This is the best place we ever stayed ❤️. Me and my family enjoyed staying in this amazing castle situated on the shore of the sea wit breathtaking view on the sea from the balcony room 😍 and soooooooooo silent, the only thing that we were able to hear was the waves of the sea 🌊 ❤️ 😍. We will remember this beautiful acomodation for ever 🥰😍 💯 recommend to everybody
Was our last sight seeing while staying in Rome and it was beautiful, worth seeing. Did wish we had more time to see all of it. This could easily be a WHOLE day trip with the nice beach next to it...but I would bring water shoes of you are not used to the rocks
We had the pleasure of staying here for a couple of nights and the location is an absolute treat. Moving around the premises is a little awkward as the place is a living museum and certain areas are off limits or require a ticket for access, but we managed. Nobody speaks english so you need to be pretty self sufficient. There is a common area for hotel guests with a kitchen, books, soda and coffee machines and free wifi throughout. If we ever come back here, I hope we can get a room with sea view or a balcony, but other than that the place is magical, I found it's truly worth the experience.
Nice beach, plenty of parking and easy to get to by train too
Wonderful location! You can spend sometime in the castle and also have a nice sea coast walk. A big part of the castle is free to visit. A ticket for the museums is 8 euro for adults. The museums are recommended to visit. There is an interesting private museum of alchemy in the territory of the castle (entrance and excursion is for donation). There are also hand-made masters with beautiful creations. Bar and food zone is near the castle. Also a little restaurant is nearby on the beach
A great castle right on the shore. We were surprised that this castle was more than a single building. It had an outer wall, buildings inside the wall, and then finally the large castle. We didn't stay here but I read it offers rooms to stay in for a very reasonable rate.
Is a great place for the whole family, a friendly bar for an aperitif, nice stretch of beach and beautiful castle you can visit, as an added value, if planned ahead.
A very nice journey back to Roman and Etruscian seafaring and coast line defense in the middle of Italy. Beautifully restored ancient castle on the beach for the young explorers and the history loving hearts. Hostal and little shops as well as museas inside the castle 🏰.

This quaint little hotel sits right on the beach. With the separate beach location, it's wonderful place to be beautiful beach, quiet, clean, and wonderful food.
The view & the beach are very good. The staff however is very unfriendly. We were here with a group and we weren’t welcomed friendly. We asked questions politely and the satff ignored us or looked vey uninterested when answering. They should smile more & be polite. We pay for a nice time and service and get treated like dogs Never have I ever been on a restaurant where the water is exclusive of the menu. We had to pay extra for our beverages at dinner. The hotel itself id good but the staff should do 10 times better!!!!!
Normally I wouldn't give one star reviews, but people with allergies, some even fatal, were given food with their allergies in it in every meal. They were also lying about allergens being in the meals, they told someone who is allergic to olive (oil) on the first night that there wasn't olive oil in the salad, then on day two they were told by a different waiter that in the exact same salad there was indeed olive oil, this is correct since they had an allergic reaction the day before. They also forgot who from the group had these allergies. We also asked for water as our bottle ran out, twice over the span of 90 minutes. The only thing near water we got was when a waiter walked by us, bottle of water in hand, smirking at us, looking us right in the eye. The rooms were adequate and the location was good. Not very near a lot of things, but it was near the beach. There was also rot in some of the rooms.
Even though their menu is fish based, they were nice enough to make me some plant based pasta and it was a nice lunch, nothing fancy, just a regular meal and friendly staff.
Terrible staff and service in the restaurant, with no flexibility for serving a large family arriving in late lunch hour. Restaurant mama grumpy as hell, and suddenly don't understand English. Very unusual experience after traveling in Italy for more than 20 yrs.
Food good, but overpriced. Service was not what you could expect for that price.
A very Nice place nearby the sea. Clean, good service and a beach only for the hotel. Eat at the beach and enjoy your time! Very good!!!!
A great restaurant $$/$$$ with annexed beach just a short drive from rome. Will be back! Reccomended!!!

We had an amazing experience at La Perla in Santa Marinella! €50 for a sunbed with towels included felt very fair, especially considering the quality. The area was immaculately clean, with the clearest water in a beautiful little bay. The food and drinks were delicious and well-prepared, and the service was friendly and efficient. Visiting in September was perfect — it was peaceful and relaxing, away from the big crowds. Overall, a fantastic spot to spend the day by the sea. Highly recommended!
Skyrocketing prices for the beach… 60€ for 2 single sunbeds, 80€ for the combined « lounge » sunbed… but waitresses are nice and the food&drinks prices are more reasonable…
The staff were unfriendly and only provided half the necessary information, making it clear they just wanted us to pay and move on. The place is overpriced for what it offers, and it’s poorly maintained. Definitely not worth the visit!
Perfect location on Santa Marinella beach, with comfy beds to relax on. The beach itself was spotlessly clean when we arrived at around 11am, and it was quite quiet. It got a bit busier after lunch, but was still relaxing. Yes you could say €60 for two of us is a bit expensive but for us it was well worth it as we spent the whole day there. We will definitely be back!
The price is simply unacceptable! 60€ for two sunbeds and an umbrella, it is just criminal. The infrastructure is rather old and inadequate. After that much money to rent a spot, you also need to pay for a shower with hot water...
Extremely rude guy running this place. He does not honor the prices on the wall, makes up higher prices for tourist. Don't support this place
the "work in progress" management for summer 2018 has been for me the worst one in ten years: badly organised, rude personnel, not to name the really packed positioning of the umbrellas. I hope that, for the summer of 2019, the concession will be given to others.
Nice place but overpriced.

The space also organizes music and cultural events. Also known as the Saxophone Museum. Quite hard to find as the name and exact location on Google maps are wrong (it’s at the other end of Via Molini, a private road closed at one end). Further to the owner’s reply, I merely meant that if they moved the location pin to the corner of via Reggiani, it would resolve the problem of many cars driving through the backstreets trying to find the location, as happened last night. And if they renamed the location as Museo del Sassofono, that would also be helpful. But it’s a fascinating place and we’ll worth a visit.
(Translated by Google) Discovered by chance it was a pleasant surprise. It is located near the Maccarese station and therefore easily reachable by train. Inside a unique, immense collection, you can take a real journey through anecdotes, curiosities and the evolution of this instrument too often considered second-class. We purchased the guide and the sax wine. Congratulations to those who wanted and manage this Museum.

(Translated by Google) An immense collection, very detailed on the origins, of saxophones of every kind and shape, to which must be added very rare, hybrid instruments (such as, for example, the violin-saxophone) and toys. A special place where, as an added value, there is the extraordinary storytelling ability of the museum director, Attilio Berni, who reels off unmissable anecdotes one after another. Highly recommended, not only for jazz enthusiasts. Raccomandatissimo, non solo agli appassionati di jazz.

This is the sweetest place. We just had coffee, but it was so beautiful and peaceful surrounded with a children's park, turtles, geese, and a lithe lake .
We loved the atmosphere and service was excellent and friendly. However, we were both ill after eating the burgers. They had a strange texture when we cut into them but tasted ok at the time. My husband thought his was grey and we've since found out that is the colour of gone off or old minced beef. Such a shame as it spoilt a day of our holiday. 😕
Adorable even in The rain but kitchen not open mid day Yes, it’s off season but I’m still hungry ;-)
Good food. Good prices. Good service. Family friendly. Recommended.
Pizza was very good. But we waited almost 20 minutes for the order. No one take care of us. When we take their attention they screen up the order. We had two different pizzas. The top of the service was when we wanted to paid seperated but they actually amount us for 10 € more than the order was. We didnt have power to deal with it and leave it immediately!!!
Service was slow and some food ordered never arrived. Got refunded only as I asked money back staff seemed to have forgotten about our table. No apology or explanation. Ordered an analcolic cocktail and was charged same as the alcohol one. Definitely will never go back.
Beautiful place, nice drinks. Food is ok but not the best. It was very crowded and took a while for them the bring the food. The waiters/waitresses are very lovely.
Mysterious bar in magical park, during evening its a place you wont go home :D Bit away from center but definitely earn to go there!
