La Fuente, there are quite a few if you have the time to look for them. it's like looking for the little magical men in Wroclaw, you will find the obvious, never them all..
We stumbled across this place while walking around Frigiliana.
(Translated by Google) Old fountain that should not be missed, it is in a small square of the same name, if you continue down the stairs, the water runs down. very pretty (Original) Fuente antigua que no hay que perderse, está en una pequeña plaza del mismo nombre, si continuas bajando por las escaleras, el agua corre hacia abajo. Muy bonita
(Translated by Google) Fountain located in a square of the same name. It was built in 1640. The fountain has three spouts decorated around it with geometric shapes; The two side spouts have rhombuses while the central one has a square. Above these pipes we can see a coat of arms belonging to the Manrique de Lara house, Íñigo, fifth lord of Frigiliana, being the one who ordered its construction. It is very deteriorated and is part of its charm, but it would not be bad to give it some maintenance since its fate can be fatal.

Its fountains still contain water. Very rich. (Original) Construida por el Conde de Frigiliana, Don Iñigo Manrique de Lara. Conserva el escudo del Conde. Abastecia de agua a la Villa y era abrevadero pará los animales. Sus chorros siguen teniendo agua. Muy rica.
(Translated by Google) It's an old fountain that was completely whitewashed years ago and now displays its original brickwork and the stone coat of arms. To access it, you have to go to the church, go down the hill a little, and turn left. It's a shame that many people who visit Frigiliana miss it.

Beautiful church in the center of Frigiliana. In front of the church is a square where you can have food and drinks. No parking nearby.
Like any Catholic church, it impresses with its good taste and simplicity. You can quietly meditate for a few minutes.
Beautiful old church and free to visit. Simpler in design to most but still very beautiful.
Got married here in 2017. Fabulous church and service.. Wonderful Spanish streets with amazing doors leading up to the Church.
A lovely peaceful visit on a quiet afternoon in Frigiliana.
Lovely church in a lovely place.
I need to learn more about the history of Frigiliana. There where battles with Moors here and there is a Moorish section of town might behind St. Antonym of Padua. They architecture is much like the churches in California built by the Jesuits to conquer the area and enslave the Indians.
The Church of San Antonio de Padua, located in Calle Real, was built in the 17th century on the site of an old mosque. Its bell tower is the former minaret of the mosque. It is a lovely looking building. A little plaza faces the church and one can avail oneself of a drink or food from the cafe/restaurant opposite.

Frigilliana is one of the most beautiful villages to visit while in the south of Spain. High up but a big sun trap, glorious walks and pretty hands made stores with all sorts of artistic trinkets. Not disability friendly everywhere, lots of steep stairs to the upper walk ways. But easy wheelchair access for all the lower streets and most of the shops.
Wonderful place, beautiful town, so interesting to see the locals celebrating the feast of St Antonio de Padua
The city is worth to visit. White and shining. Good tapas and very friendly waiter in some very small restaurant.
Beautiful little village with an amazing self service bodega on the hillside
Lovely, white pueblo with craft shops, cafes, and restaurants. Highly recommend the The Garden Restaurant at the top of the hill.
Enjoyed the trip to see this place on the road train.
The village is beautiful but the Palacio is *never* open. You can see it from the outside, that is all.
Lovely building but we were not able to go inside to visit. Not sure the reason behind.

Interesting but small, great to pop into if your in the town. Some really good artefacts on display and quite varied as well so it keeps your attention if you get bored easily. Its located in the tourist information centre and the staff are very friendly and helpful. As its right in between the old and new town its an easy place to find. Every town should have a place like this to celebrate the local history.
Stumbled across here by mistake and spent quite a while looking at some of the artifacts on display. It's all free. Nice bit of history.
Very nice museum 👍🏻
Insight to Frigilianas less known past.

The first thing to do is go up to the Casa del Apero, which houses the Tourist Office, a library and the Archaeological Museum. Unfortunately on our trip we found it closed (due to Covid-19) but we were still able to take a look at the beautiful building and enjoy a great panoramic view of the town. 2. Although as we have already told you, the chicha is on the other side, in the Mudejar neighborhood, a labyrinthine network of cobblestone streets that go up and down and that leave on their sides the typical white houses with colored doors that we like so much.

Hot walk up not for the faint hearted but well worth the visit. Very hot and humid when I went up but well worth it for the views
It is private villa and closed for visitors. But there is a nice view and good track down to the city. You just have to come back to the observation yard (you can actually park a car here) and go to the north east. You can also see the avocado trees!
It's an interesting shortcut walk straight from town (past restaurant El Jardin and then just up up up), or the long route coming from the back. The view is fantastic all around. There is not much left of the castle/fort itself, but you get the idea of how it must have been in the old days. The climb up is not for everyone, btw. But if you're lucky, you get a private guide cat, who takes cuddles as payment.
Nice walk up the hill but there is nothing left of the ruins and the old town is overflooded with tourist buses. Disappointing.
amazing view, and a beautifull walk to the top, there is not much left of the castle but the view i absolutly amazing
If you fancy a wander up out of Frigiliana, head to Castillo Lizar. There is a great view down to the Pozo Baton where we used to swim until it was fenced off
It is really a nice place for hiking and meeting the sunset.
Nothing there haha...No Castillo:/ but nice walk to the top and great view:)

Such a hidden gem! This town was very fun to visit and see the beautiful white city with the beach only 10-15 minutes away. Pretty quiet with not too many tourists. Parking is easy as well if you have a car.
This is an amazing place to visit, beautiful streets, houses and people...
Beautiful town in the mountains, with several restaurants and stores to chose from. The view is amazing and is definitely worth your time to visit.
