Well managed water park in Montichiari (BS) close to the garda lake. Lot of swimming pools suitable for kids. There’s the presence of a swimming pool only for adults perfect for who wants to be much more in a quite environment. Two brand new padel field have just been added to the offer of the park. Suggested!!
Too expensive for what its offered. In addition to the entrance ticket you have to pay extra for the chairs/places to be around the pool. Place is full of rules for what you can use, hammocks, camping mats and chairs are all forbiden. Common water park nothing exciting.
Great aqua park to spend a day with kids or without. There are several swimming pools: for adults, for kids, mixed. There is a big wellness area for adults, slides for smaller abd bigger kids. There are two cafes inside the park and a big free parking
We love it here. Lots of things for the kids to do. Swimming in a pool, playing on the play ground, splashing and going down the slides in the water park. If your kid is tall enough(if you paid for him) then he can go down the big water slide. They have food there, but you can bring your own. You can rent chairs there or bring blankets to lay on. There's trees all over for shade.
This is a huge swimming complex for all ages. Well designed and well organised. Bars are frequent throughout. We had a great day and so did the kids
The Park is wonderful but is mainly for children there is no deep point in the entire park and there are strict rules, but very recommended for children
A beautiful and big place for spend a weekend, love it , easy to find , nice staff, a lovely place
Amazing and wonderful water park 👍🏻 the best water park there are many swimming pools for kids and adults.. lots of activities in a very resonable price.. toilets are always clean, changing room and also a hot shower bath for 0.50 cent..

We lived at Ghedi Air Base, Italy for 3 years. The countryside is beautiful. 1978 to 1980. We spent a lot of time site seeing. The Castles are gorgeous. Leaning Tower of Pisa is amazing. Venice at the Canal riding down the Canal in a Gondola was awesome. We had our youngest daughter in Italy. A lot of History. So much too see and do. The Open Markets on Saturday mornings while eating hot Calamari are bring back lots of memories.
I have a very mixed feelings about the experience we had. On one hand it is a very nice place to visit - the garden in front and at the back is very well curated, full of greens and plants. The castle itself is beautiful with illustrations on the walls, arches, windows, amazing ceilings in every room. BUT there is no way you can walk there by yourself. There is a guide that is forced to give you a lot of information in a couple of minutes in every room. The guy was chattering all the info out and then heading to the next room. I know italian but even for me it was too fast - you either listen to the guide or watch carefully and in details whatever you see in the castle. I was making pictures as crazy just to be able to capture something to maybe later at home have a glance and understand what I actually saw. Poor English speaking family that was with us in the group - they were given a few papers with english text right when the excursion started. There was NO WAY they could follow the text on paper and have a look around. It’s either this or that. I am not sure why it was decided to have strictly 30 mins for such a rich in details place, where you could wonder around at least one hour even without a guide. I’ve been to a lot of museums, castles and old houses, which might have been even smaller to walk in but people were free to explore everything themselves. So yep, the castle and the territory is great but this kind of visita guidata has no sense at all.
Although the castle was constructed in 1890, the owner spared no expense in recreating a medieval castle. The decorations are floor to ceiling.
Montichiari is a beautiful relatively small town in Brescia. The centre of the town is beautiful. There is an historic church and a castle. The castle is beautiful and very calm place.
The most beautiful castle, perfect for weddings & events!
CLOSED EXCEPT FOR WEEKENDS. In capitals because it’s not all that obvious from the entry here. Dont bother coming unless you plan on attending on Saturday or Sunday. Not a real castle, more a 19thC folly built in the style of a castle. Can’t see much of it from the outside.
Nice place for tourist they must visit this beautiful place guide was wonderful she guide is very briefly
Awesome art sculpture and architecture.

It's spiritual...it's romantic...you can find what you have lost😍
Neat grounds and area to walk around adjacent to a park, open public area and a couple other monuments. Hours for access to the interior are incredibly minimal and only on Sundays. Glad they allow enjoyment of the exterior area.
Nice church to visit. We saw on google that it is opened only on sunday and just for 3h. Luckily, we were nearby so we decoded to have a look. The doors were opened exactly at 15.00. We talked to two nice ladies who are volunteering there. We got some stories, advices what else to see in zone and just a nice chitchat. Thanks 🤍
(Translated by Google) Nice quiet place surrounded by greenery. Ideal for quiet walks with friends or even with children. Breathtaking view from above the cross where you can see the entire town of Montichiari, but not least the spectacle that can also be seen from the parish church. Go there on a Sunday instead of going to a mall (Original) Bel posto tranquillo e immerso nel verde.
(Translated by Google) The place is quiet, the Pieve is very beautiful on the outside. I give 2 stars because, together with other visitors, on Sunday 5 April we found ourselves waiting in vain for it to open to visit the interior. The opening hours are indicated online on Sunday from 3pm to 6.30pm. Nothing is indicated on the site. I tried calling the number indicated by Google and they replied that they are not responsible for the management of the parish church but only of the museums and the castle of Montichiari. A fax was attached to the number indicated on the Pieve website! Outside of Pieve there was no indication of timetables or numbers to contact for information! I would say that for Italy to be a country that should focus everything on tourism and places of art, this type of management is decidedly lacking. We and others with us left disappointed also because we are unlikely to return.
(Translated by Google) The pieve di San Pancrazio is a religious building that stands on the hill of the same name in the municipality of Montichiari in the province and diocese of Brescia. In the territory of Montichiari the Roman age is amply testified by a widespread presence of rural settlements (5th century BC) composed of rustic villas and small necropolises. The early Middle Ages are characterized by the settlement of Lombard populations (6th-7th century AD) dating back to this period; also here, more than 300 finds have been identified on Mount S. Zeno. The birth certificate of the municipality of Montichiari dates back to 1167; the municipal period lasted until 1237, when the army of Federico II and Ezzelino da Romano laid waste to the territory; in 1348 the territory was occupied by the Viscontis. Pandolfo III Malatesta occupied the locality in 1404, after taking Brescia and finally came under the rule of the Republic of Venice in the early 15th century.[1] Unfortunately it was closed, but already on the outside in its linear and compact structure it is a beautiful example of the simple and elegant Romanesque style...⛪😀✋👍. A small but beautiful museum with lovely paintings. The staff was very welcoming and answered my questions. The only downside is that the descriptions of the paintings were only in italian but they are easy to understand if you know the language on a basic level.
A fine museum with various paintings and nice workers. We took our time, watching everything in details and it took us around 1h (but i guess the average person might take less). The ticket was included in the price of the Castello Bonoris. Unfortunately, they had a small range of postcards at the end of the visit, I wish they had more :)
(Translated by Google) Small but interesting museum which houses interesting works by important painters, in particular from the fifteenth to the nineteenth century. It is located in the center of Montichiari and the ticket is combined with that of the visit to the Bonoris Castle, of which it houses a precious tea and coffee service in gold-plated silver.
(Translated by Google) I admit that I only visited it because we had free tickets for the guided tour of the Bonoris castle. But I can say that regardless of everything, it is worth a visit. Very clean, very friendly and very nice staff. For the upper room, a game was proposed to my children which also involved us parents, and it was really a lot of fun and allowed us to look at the paintings very carefully, something we probably wouldn't have done. At the end of the tour and the game, a symbolic prize was given to the children, who couldn't stop saying how much fun it was. Really very happy to have been here with my family.

The museum, although not too large, is full of paintings by artists who have marked the history of Italian art. The small exhibition on women's fashion also gets 10/10.
