Another beach on our map and it may not be the best of the best or I will say that there are countless beaches here and there is no great sand under your feet, the whole surroundings somehow create a pleasant atmosphere. You can take a walk along the rocks and snap a few nice photos or just sunbathe somewhere in a quiet place. The car park is medium-sized and during the season it can be tight.
Cala Xarraca is a little beach with a steep drive down and a small free car park that fills up quickly, so it’s best to arrive early. There’s a nice bar and restaurant right on the beach, which makes it convenient for food and drinks. The beach itself is made up of pebbles and rocks. The water is clear, though there are quite a lot of seaweeds at the entrance. Space on the beach is limited, but there’s also a lovely natural pool with crystal-clear water, perfect for kids. In the afternoon, parts of the beach get some welcome shade, which is a nice bonus.
Sandy/rocky beach. Lounge chairs available for rent, but easily possible to lay down on the sand. Plenty of free parking. Restaurant on site not great, but serves reasonably pricedcold beer. Good starting point on a hike to explore nearby caves
On the left side with little rock climbing you get to the more private part of the beach. Beach is full of dried sea grass that is really comfortable and soft to lie on, but you must accept the fact that it will be over everything. In earlier hours we were the only ones at the beach, around 2 pm more people started coming.
Picture yourself diving into a cove so pristine it feels like Ibiza’s best-kept secret? Cala Xarraca stole my heart with its turquoise waters and wild, rocky cliffs perfect for anyone craving a break from the island’s party scene. Snorkeling here is like exploring an underwater jewel box, with fish darting through crystal-clear depths. I was blown away to discover a hidden rope swing at Sa Punta Negra, just a 10-minute stroll away, where you can dangle over the Mediterranean for that perfect photo moment. Pro tip: head to the cove’s left side for natural mud baths that locals claim work skincare miracles, but avoid peak summer when the mud’s too dry. Get here early to nab parking—it’s tight—and pack water shoes for the rocky shore. The beachside restaurant serves killer fresh fish and paella, so save room for lunch. For max chill, visit in the late afternoon when the crowds fade and the sunset lights up the sky.
beach 3/10, there are jellyfish that sting, stones when entering the sea, not convenient. very quiet, no waves
Wonderful secluded beach, with limited parking and steep hill going down to it. There is a restaurant on the beach, but it wasn't open when we were there at around midday It's a great place to go snorkeling as well, as the cove it well protected from the wind and waves
The Anchorage beach and water 5 - Restaurant beach, rentals we did not use.... Because of swell at their dinghy dock. We went to this pretty bay to Anchor is the water out about 200 yards is as clear as I've really seen There was a stone wall with Wood Pegs to tie up your dinghy if you dared, there was a pretty consistent swell that was slamming are dinghy into the stone wall. In truth we need our dinghy more then a drink. The beach Bar sold food and drinks, lawn chairs and boards are available... Which I would recommend padding around this little bay it really is beautiful. The beach is mostly stone, there is parking before the Restaurant and Inn.

This is a massive hidden gem: if you truly do like sushi, you have to go. Top quality food. Extremely well thought plates without overdoing it with, a great combination of tasty but not too strong sauces. Plus service is very attentive and caring. Last and not less important: Cocktails. Just have one, you won't regret it.
Amazing sushi!!! Double salmon and kabanoki were delicious, the salmon melts in your mouth. Must visit when in Portinatx ❤️
Incredible sushi restaurant in Portinatx, with very innovative dishes, delicious cocktails, and excellent service. Came here multiple times to try their poke bowls for take away to then eat at the beach, which is just next to it. Fresh fish, delicious toppings, and homemade sauces makes Kanpai worthy of the best poke on the island. Their sushi rolls and nigiri are just as amazing and offer you incredible, unique flavours.
I like the effort the people put into this new place but i feel a lot has to be improved. The sushi rolls are very small. The double salmon sushi roll is supposed to be flamed but not burnt which unfortunately was the case for us. The starters are tiny and over priced nevertheless most of them very tasty although the shrimp gyozas were nothing special. The highlight was the shrimp tower. In the end we paid 80€ without dessert or booze and were not very satisfied.
A Portinatx Gem Hiding in Plain Sight Upon first glance, Kanpai Sushi & Cocktails in Portinatx, seems a relic from a bygone era. With its rustic, weathered exterior and the slightly dated charm of its verandah, filled with nondescript tables and bamboo chairs, one could easily pass it by. The vast interior leans more towards the casual drinker, hinting at evening buzz rather than a gastronomic experience. My initial thoughts? This might not be the culinary excursion I had hoped for. Yet, as the evening unfolded, Kanpai's true colors shone vibrantly. Despite its expansive size, there's an intimacy that grows with the setting sun. Arriving for an early dinner, the serenity of being the first diners was unique, but by the time our meal was drawing to a close, the atmosphere had transformed. A humming chatter, laughter, and the clinking of glasses proved that this place was a favorite for both locals and tourists of all ages. The menu is where Kanpai truly stands out. While its lunch offerings cater to the Poke bowl lovers, dinner dives deep into a world of sushi that defies convention. I was both intrigued and delighted by their Sobrasada & Scallop sushi combination, an eclectic fusion that, against all odds, worked beautifully. Not to forget the recommended shrimp tower and spicy tuna, which were standout dishes in their own right. But what's sushi without a drink to accompany it? Beyond the regular selection, it's the cocktails that steal the show. For those with a sugary inclination, the Lychee Martini is a must, while the spicy margarita promises a delightful kick. The staff, multilingual and amiable, add to the overall pleasant experience, ensuring questions are answered and orders are taken with a genuine warmth. But the real cherry on top? The incredible value for money. Such quality, at such prices, is a rarity. Our evening at Kanpai, which began with hesitancy due to its deceptive facade, ended in a unanimous desire to return. It's a testament to the surprises Portinatx holds and the delightful discoveries one can stumble upon when least expected.
Best restaurant in Portinatx! Amazing cocktails and even better sushi!

Really great English pub. Lovely couple and their family also who came in the pub were very friendly. Fantastic atmosphere for the football. Thank you very much from (Gregory).
Promised to show us a Rugby match, when we arrived he held a karaoke and refused to turn on tvs. Felt he had something against the irish.
I can't comment on the service or the food. In fairness the food looks good. But we visited last week, and they wouldn't let my pregnant friend use their toilet. I think this woman was so unreasonable. She speaks English so language was no problem, completely unnecessary.
Live sports , karaoke nights , beer at a good price
Nice friendly atmosphere , good English food and at a very reasonable price Defiantly worth a few visits
We were staying in Portinatx and popped into "Bar DelBoys" to watch some football. Both Brian, Bev and the whole family made us very welcome. It helped with Sarah being a Spurs fan (for her sins) They also put the Motogp on for us. There's Karaoke and a small quiz on the evening. Definitely worth checking out "BAR DELBOY" Big thanks to the whole Delboy Family.
Brilliant bar only a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Brian and Beverly make you feel really welcome and if you like a bit of Karaoke this is definitely the place to be. Brian also shows all types of sports, I myself was there for the football but others were there watching rugby. All round great bar thanks again Brian and Beverly for being the perfect hosts.
Absolutely fantastic bar, friendly staff & gorgeous food!!!

Delicious Paella, but the liquidish one not the crunchy. You need to call beforehand and inform which kind of paella you want to have for lunch. The price is 25€ for person, but it is big and has a beautiful scenery.
We went for lunch today. It was very busy with only a few tables left. The were greeted by a friendly lady who gave us a table. We only wanted a.light lunch so ordered Spanish ham and Melon, a chicken salad and bread and alioli which also came with olives. The food was excellent and the beer cold. The staff were very friendly. The view over the main beach and beyond was lovely. We will eat here again.
Location is fantastic. Shared a pizza and a salad, both tasty and perfect for lunch. With a glass of rose and beautiful view.
Lovely views and a great mojito! Very reasonable prices and excellent service from the waitress at our visit
Big fan! Easy menu, nice pizza’s, friendly employees and very nice view!
Unbelievable that this restaurant is less than 4 stars. Amazing food, good price and excelent view.
Nice setting, very clean, good food. A bit pricey though, €36 for 3 sandwiches, 2 bowls of fries, 3 soft drinks.
Basic apartments but kept very clean and tidy, fantastic view from the balcony overlooking the sea, 2 minutes from the beaches, restaurants and bars, supermarket is downstairs which was useful
