Great trails to explore and the views of Dedo de Deus are simply amazing!
One of the most amazing National Parks in Brazil. Petrópolis - Teresópolis trail is a must. Among other attractions are "Dedo de Deus", waterfalls and breathtaking viewpoints.
This is a super beautiful park area that I visited in Teresopolis. I really enjoyed the fun of walking across all the rocks and sitting under the several waterfalls. This was during January and the weather was just perfect. I hope to visit the beautiful place again.
Beautiful region, with amazing scenarios and astonishing wildlife
good roads, short distances, nice views
I hiked from Petropolis to Teresopolis and it was one of the most technically difficult hikes I've done. There is this one part called the "little horse" where the only way to continue is to take your backpack off, grab the rock, swing your leg over the rock, and use your momentum to hoist your body on and over this large rock. Did I mention that this all takes place on cliff where if you fall you die? Yep! It was worth it and so incredibly beautiful but the trail is no joke! Doable if you do it in 2-3 days (carrying your camping gear) but a lot of altitude! I have hiked 36km/day in the snow, and found this hike to be a challenge physically and mentally.
Beautiful park, with a fun little road that goes a few km into the jungle. The view at the end of the Cartão Postal trail is worth the hike, but be warned that it's not easy. Don't attempt it if you're not in shape.
I really enjoyed the park. It has many waterfalls with small natural pools. Accessible, requires a short hiking of 5-10 minutes to get to most of the natural pools. Very relaxing and calm.

Beautiful colorful place. Nicely setup and maintained, very clean and full of varieties of flowers.
(Translated by Google) Lots of orchids. I'm no expert, but there are dozens of types. See the photos. Veja as fotos.

It's a small goat cheese maker farm.
(Translated by Google) Nice place. What disappointed us was that we went just to visit and, when we arrived, we were approached in a somewhat unpleasant way and told that we would have to pay 10 reais (a so-called "symbolic amount" - which is anything but symbolic lol. In fact, we had to pay the same 10 reais for my 3-year-old cousin) to enter, even though this charge was not even mentioned on the farm's official website.
(Translated by Google) Nice place for a quick visit. We bought sweets, cookies, and cheese. I think the R$10.00 per person charge is unnecessary. It's outrageous! What we ate at the cafeteria was very good, but the coffee and cappuccino left something to be desired. They were too watery. The animal section is simple and cute. The end result is a hefty entry fee. You should visit once and never return… (Original) Lugar agradável para uma rápida visita. Compramos docinhos, biscoitos e queijos. No final a conta fica salgada pagando a entrada.
(Translated by Google) Geneve Farm – Teresópolis, RJ I visited Geneve Farm, in the countryside of Teresópolis, as a family outing. The place is known as a tourist attraction in the region, but my experience left some important points to note. Positive points: • Pleasant scenery and some animals to interact with, such as sheep, goats, and a pony. • Area with a restaurant, cafe, and sales of local products such as goat cheese and similar items. The farm is a cheese producer, and you can see some of this production in one of the houses. Points for improvement: • Entrance fee: R$10 per person, including children over 3. For large families, the price is high, considering there aren't many attractions or animals to justify it. A different rate for children or a more symbolic fee would make the visit more affordable. • Expectations of the farm: Based on the name and advertising, one might imagine a larger space with more animals, but the visitable area is small and has only a few animals. • Cafeteria: There were no physical menus on the tables, only QR codes and Wi-Fi, which somewhat detracted from the charm of a trip to the countryside. Furthermore, the online menu had outdated prices (e.g., hot chocolate advertised for R$18 but charged R$22). When asked, the attendant showed no interest in correcting or explaining. • Service: On the day of our visit (Father's Day), the staff seemed disorganized, which affected the experience. Conclusion: The space has potential and is beautiful, but the value isn't the best for families. With price adjustments and improvements to the visitor experience, it could become a more attractive outing.

(Translated by Google) The place has a great vibe, with some animals on display, lush flora, harmonious landscaping, and top-notch cuisine. The service is very friendly, attentive, and kind. The staff is very professional, attentive, and welcoming. Excellent products, but be prepared to pay; excellent quality comes at a price! Finding your way around is a bit tricky.
