Really enjoyed my visit — a beautiful and inspiring place! I didn’t have enough time to explore the whole campus, but it definitely left me wanting to come back. The restaurant was also a pleasant surprise with a tasty menu, and the free parking 🅿️ is a big plus. Looking forward to returning soon!
Beautiful first European Commission by Frank Ghery. The building is not very big but it’s an asymmetrical jewel that changes every few steps. Don’t miss out the opportunity to check the interior and visit one of the interesting design exhibitions that it holds.
My life is complete! Visiting the Vitra Design Museum was an absolute bucket list and it delivered!! An abolsutely sensational showcase of interior design and furniture. Just make sure you remember to take a mat BEFORE climbing up the slide tower (unlike us)! The only problem is that it was impossible to get an Uber back to our hotel in Basel, and it was very difficult getting a taxi back! You're best to ask the staff to assist with this (I wished we did).
I had a fantastic day at the VITRA Campus and enjoyed touring the entire facility along with the architecture tour. Great to see so many VITRA and Artek products on display and I particularly liked the designer showcase. Our guide was fantastic as was morning coffee and lunch. A day really well spent for lovers of design, quality furniture & architecture! The on site flagship store is also a good spot to look at small accessories and books. 10/10
The Vitra Design Museum has some impressive buildings designed by renowned architects, but beyond that, I found the museum itself to be underwhelming. The gift shop's prices felt steep for the items offered, which seemed more focused on selling the prestige of the museum rather than showcasing truly unique products.
The Vitra Design Museum is a stunning destination for anyone passionate about architecture and design. The entire site is a visual and intellectual delight, showcasing decades of Vitra’s innovation and creativity. Walking through the museum and its surrounding buildings is like stepping into a living archive of design history, constantly evolving with new ideas and exhibitions. It’s inspiring to see how Vitra continues to push boundaries while honoring its rich legacy.
Definitely recommend a visit if you are interested in design and architecture. Easy 30 min bus trip from Basel Claraplatz. The Vitra house showroom was undergoing a renovation but everything was open. A tour around the campus is a must if you have time.
Very nice showroom and restaurant! Worth a visit (minimum 4 hours) Fashion catwalks exhibition but not enough time.

Great waterpark for kids with indoor and out door pools and slides, the outdoor are much better.. very clean and very nice staff. You must wear skinny bathing suits!!! otherwise you won't be allowed to go in the pool or use the slides!!!!
Went there during the weekend so it was quite busy. In general I thought it was a bit small but we still found it enjoyable. Thank you. I was surprised because the food was better than in most water parks! The only downside was the long long line .. Also one suggestion.. upstairs above the restaurant there were only 2 toddler highchairs close to the tables. Few extra ones are needed I think at least during the weekends when there are more people and more toddlers. Had to hold my toddler while eating which is not ideal.
So far I can recommend this place when you are in a budget you can also bring some food and drinks hope they stay like this 👍
Great in and outdoor swimming and sauna area. Lots of nice pools also for little kids. Lots of fun with the pool that has a wave machine and the heated water. Kids loved it. Food is rather fast food-ish and could be improved a bit to integrate healthier options. Especially for kids. Prices are a bit high but it is worth it over all.
So, I'll start with the positives. First of all, I liked the food, it looked great and tasted great. I also liked the pools, they were clean, And despite the number of people, there was enough space to swim. The wave pool was also good. The staff were polite and nice. The only reason I gave it three stars was because of the slides. Firstly, on the blue hill where there are places to stand and take a rest, an incredible number of people gathered who collided with each other and this, in my opinion, is simply dangerous! There is no regulation The number of people on the slide! Also the second slide was also distinguished (the red one) There is a regulation of people, but the problem is that it only represents a light bulb, there is no one who would actually regulate how many people jump at one time! I saw four girls jump into this slide at the same time, although only one person could jump there, and the indicator that was supposed to show whether it was possible to jump worked with a Big delay! Another minus that I can note about the slides is that when I was going down the slide there was no pressure! This meant that I just got stuck halfway and tried to frantically Push yourself forward so that the next person doesn't crash into me! And the worst thing is that my mother went there and she has back problems, which is why the man and the child crashed right into her! Perhaps they specifically turned off the pressure so that people would not go down the slide. But then why weren't people sent there to tell them not to go down??? Although it is possible that there was a breakdown in the set and the staff simply noticed it too late, but in any case This is incredibly dangerous, I hope they take action.
Great with kids, very clean and everything seems quite new. There was big area for little kids and three slides for bigger. Low entrance fee, only about 16€ per adult. Parking was 2€ for whole day.
Great Combo prices for myself and my daughter. Excellent selection of pools and my daughter loved the kids labyrinth.
No complains !! Extremely clean water. Ticket price (day ticket)is good. Food is good and not expensive. You can bring in your own food too (Picnic allowed)(even in winter when you're only indoors) A special mention should go out to the patient and polite management who replies ,here on Google maps, to all reviews of people who are ,for eg, simply not adhering the rules. It would be a good idea to have a big poster of the layout of the premises. I didn't know that I missed out half the place until it was too late. The mezzanine floor (above the restaurant) is dangerously slippery . The showers need to be replaced.

Amazing Showroom with a beautiful design and great interior furniture. Very friendly staff which can help you select and customize Vitra furniture. Also great to get some inspiration.
The structure consists of 12 extruded traditional house forms, with five on the ground floor and seven on the upper levels. Its orientation offers views of France, Germany, and Switzerland. While I’m not a fan of the architectural language of its exterior, the interior spaces created by the intersecting forms are truly delightful and exciting. The shop facing the road has an attractive window display, but I found its selection of items underwhelming for a brand like Vitra.
Great building by Herzog & de Meuron, showcasing Vitra's home collection. It's really a museum cum showroom, showing off some of the classic designs by Charles Eames, Isamu Noguchi, Alvar Aalto, and other designers to their best advantage.
Great place to visit. A must visit place if you like new designs. There is also a small cafe restaurant and a super fun slide 😊 Slide has a surprise which you have to go and test it.
Really cool place. A must for those who want to see things off the known designs. The architecture of the house is already magnificent. The interior is just marvelous as well. For every taste something to find.
Beautiful place and expositions. The way the furniture is placed is splendid, you perfectly project yourself. This is a big place.
I loved my visit to the entire design campus; at the store the staff was super nice too. The exhibits are amazing and the food was delicious.
The new exhibition in the Vitra House is poor and uninspiring. The excitement and inspiration are gone. They got replaced by nostalgia for the good old days... The new garden is still magnificent, though

The Rhein Center is a renowned shopping and entertainment hub nestled in Germany's scenic Rhine River region. Visitors can relish a diverse array of shops, dining venues, cafes, and entertainment facilities. Moreover, its strategic location affords breathtaking views spanning three countries: Switzerland, France, and Germany.
Big mall with many shops and parking lots.
Lots of shops and food eateries. Also there is one large supermarket over 2 floors. The place could do with a revamp as it does look tired and old.
It's a shopping mall Located in germany. But very close to switzeland and france. That's why very famouse shoping mall for these three countries.
Our Rhine River cruise was docked at Huningue on French side. When we crossed the bridge above, we came here on German side. the Rhein Center looked attractive from outside. We entered for a short visit. It had a lot of shops, cafes and restaurants. Due to shortage of time, we did not go upstairs. We were told that people from French side come this side for shopping due to its prices being cheaper.
building located at the junction and I ve heard some interesting stories of this building.
Wonderful place great subway with gluten free bread and very nice people in the stores. wonderful place shop.
Nice shopping mall and a beautiful river bank near by. You can enjoy the bridge walk over the river during a calm summer noon!

Amazing views for the new year. The bridge of three countries. Walk from Switzerland into Germany, then cross the bridge into France. You can have breakfast lunch and dinner in three different countries.
Please don't think that you can get to the bridge directly from Three Countries point. You can't. From Switzerland you have to either walk or get the tram to Germany and then walk to the bridge. I walked and it took me about 20 mins. With the help of Google Maps I had no issues at all. I was alone and felt safe at all times. Even as I walked through the docks.
The Three Countries Bridge is an incredibly unique and fun spot that left a strong impression on me! With just one step, you can stand at the meeting point of three countries: Germany, France, and Switzerland — a rare and exciting experience. The bridge has a sleek, modern design with a gentle curve over the Rhine River, making it perfect for a scenic walk, great photos, and a moment to feel the cultural connection between nations. The air is fresh, the river views are lovely — especially at sunset. A must-visit landmark that beautifully unites three countries in one stunning view!
I didn’t know Basel bordered France and Germany so it was really cool to walk from Switzerland to Germany for a lovely pretzel and then to walk across the bridge to France for coffee and a delicious pastry. The bridge itself is nothing spectacular but really cool thing to do while visiting Basel. There is no border control that I seen for those worried, I did bring my passport card just in case.
I walked across the Three Countries Bridge in Basel, and it was cool thinking I was stepping over three borders at once—Switzerland, Germany, and France. The bridge itself is simple, modern, not too fancy, but the idea makes it special. The view of the Rhine is nice, and it’s a good spot to take a photo just for the bragging rights. There were some cyclists and a few tourists, but it wasn’t crowded. If you’re in Basel and want a quick, easy trip to two more countries in like five minutes, this is the place. Fun little detour!
Definitely worth visiting if you are in a neighboring city. It's credible to see that you are in 3 countries at once. I visited from Basel Switzerland and you had to show ID (passport for foreigners) on the last stop of the tram was in Germany.
Beautiful place with a twist: It links 2 to countries together, which at least 3 times fought each other with millions of dead as a result. Beautiful symbol!
Fantastic bridge as walkway between 3 countries Germany, France and Switzerland. I love this place. Amazing view on Rhine River. The Germany side is very exciting. Lots of good shopping options in Rhein Centre, such as Edeka, H&M, New Yorker, and DM, and many more other options. For Swiss and France people, this is a good place for economical shopping and food.

The tour past orchards with a detour through Tumringen to Rubella is varied and entertaining. The return journey through the Grüttpark was also a great experience. Despite a rain shower we also experienced in the meantime, we always felt in good hands and safe. Thank you very much for a great experience!
