For those looking for “on the rocks” off the beaten tracks:
🌊🪨⛱️🍹free sea access or sunbeds with picnic tables in the shade, beach bar and parking.
+ reasonable prices, choose from sand to grass for hammocks
+ “free” beach (ok, it’s only rocks, so you better like climbing a little)
+ beach bar (from schiacciata to prosciutto e Melone to Franciacorta and kids menu) and tables in the shade (no sea view)
+ local (off the beaten tracks for most tourists)
- don’t go if for you “beach = sand”
- water access on the rocks (you might want to bring your water shoes), if you climb the rocks to the right you will find a latter or go straight from the beach clubs for some carved out stones
To consider (after reading previous reviews): it’s a natural “beach” that consists of rocks, not a sandy beach. Bring your water shoes and snorkel (though locals go barefoot). It’s a bar, therefore “finger food” - don’t expect fine dining. Read that they break into cars, i had no problems and saw the police driving though the parking lot checking.
