I surprised my spouse with a last min road trip to attend a concert. This was our first time at this venue, the weather wasn’t great but that is not their fault. Staff were friendly. The rooms were good, views were not—but that wasn’t why we were there. Casino floor was clean with some “non smoking” areas which made the area more tolerable. We did utilize a shuttle pass to the concert and it was actually very efficient —buses were clean and definitely worth the $15-20? That we paid. I was definitely glad we had the covered sheltered seats for the concert—we didn’t even know it was pouring rain until we had to make a run for the bathroom. Great adventure. Will definitely do it again!
We stayed here last night for a show and it was really good! I was expecting way worse based on the reviews and was pleasantly surprised. Check in was really quick and smooth the person checking us in was extremely nice and very friendly. Our room was nice and clean. I really appreciated the fact there was not any carpet in the room. The casino was nice also and the perks for signing up were great. I ended up with $50 in free play! The shuttle to the show was extremely quick and efficient! We are already planning our next trip back.
From the moment I arrived, Jackie went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. She greeted me with genuine warmth, made sure I felt completely accommodated, and handled every request with professionalism and care. It’s rare to come across someone who takes such pride in their work and treats guests like family, but Jackie does exactly that. Her attention to detail, upbeat energy, and commitment to ensuring everything went smoothly truly stood out. She turned what could have been just another hotel visit into a five-star experience. Hollywood Casino St. Louis is lucky to have someone like Jackie representing their brand — she embodies the meaning of hospitality. Thank you, Jackie, for setting the bar so high. I’ll definitely be back!
Came here to stay for the Luke Bryan concert. Got a concert package with shuttle included, and it was SO worth it. Made getting to and from the concert so easy! It was a sold out show, so there were a lot of people, but we weren’t on a time crunch heading back, so all was good. The line to get on shuttle to head back to the hotel was long, but moved much faster than we expected! Had Bill at the front desk for check-in and check-out, and he was very friendly, calm, and helpful. Really appreciated his positive & welcoming demeanor. Only thing that would be nice to add to the rooms would be a small microwave! :) (but would still stay here again even without it)
Stayed here while attending a concert. The rooms were clean and affordable, and the location is great—walking distance or a short shuttle ride to two venues. The only downside is that food options close around 11pm (sometimes earlier). After that, you’ll need to order out, or settle for a hotdog and a few small items in the casino. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again.
Update (Recent Stay): My daughters and I stayed Thursday night for a concert. The room was adequate for what we needed, and the staff was friendly this time around. However, being a hotel guest doesn’t seem to come with any perks. We spent over $400 for one night and still had to pay $15 per person for the concert shuttle. What’s frustrating is that non-guests who don’t want to pay the $20 concert parking fee just park in the casino lot and pay the same $15 shuttle fee—so there’s really no advantage to staying at the hotel. To their credit, the shuttle system was well-organized and the wait time wasn’t long. Still, it would be nice if paying guests were offered a few small perks or discounts—it would make a big difference in the overall experience. My husband and I stayed on May 19 for a short getaway—something we rarely get to do. Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. The woman who checked us in was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Our room was not very clean, and the food was honestly terrible. I filled out a survey and got a nice response, which gave me some hope. But since then, trying to follow up has been a nightmare. I’ve left voicemails, sent three emails since August 29, and only got a reply on September 25—and still no actual resolution. I wish I had known how poor the customer service was before booking another stay with my two daughters to attend an on-site concert. Very frustrating experience overall.
The standard rate of $189 would have been double what this place was worth. We got charged $383 due to “high demand”. Filthy and in poor repair. Stay elsewhere if you can. We had no choice. We took our complaints to the front desk and got no help. The A/C did not keep the room cool when it was only in the mid 80s. The floors, laminate not carpet, were filthy. The bathroom had water damage and mold growing. The mattress had dips, lumps and stains. The sheets even had stains.
I've had a really bad time it showed potential to be the best weekend of my life to my best disappointment the game play and design is miraculous my experience comes more from the company this hotel keep I know that the maid services was rude n some. Money came up missing out of my suitcase and when I reported it to the desk I was told to come fill out a lost and found form and grievance from to get the run around and I'm disabled I can't run but very short sperts and it hurts me then the room service was crazy slow or orders would be mixed matched and to think I was thinking about have my reception there I don't. Even want to try any other casinos really just all around sad sad time

I waited a very long time to go see blink-182 and I’ve never been to this venue and it was a perfect night, I got green room tickets and it was worth every penny!!! The venue was awesome. The seats were amazing and it was a lot different than any other amphitheater I’ve ever seen.
This is actually a great venue but I had to take off a couple of stars due to some recent changes in operations. They manage traffic fantastically and its super easy to get in and out. The place is well maintained and has a lot to offer. However, they now charge $20 and up to park. You used to be able to bring your own lawn chair for the lawn seats, no more, now its $15 per. They have a great variety of food and drink, but be prepared to spend a small fortune. So because they nickle and dime you so much I could only give them 3 stars. If they reverse these policies I'd give them a solid 5 stars.
We attended a concert here, our first time. We splurged for the VIP parking…$110 for one night! But, it was still a long hike in. There was supposed to be a dedicated exit lane but we were directed to one that has us go in the opposite direction that we needed to. Concessions: outrageous pricing. Four mixed drinks with tip = $150! Worse pricing than Vegas. My brother in law wanted to buy two drinks and two cups of ice. They insisted that they sell the ice at an alcoholic drink price…$26!! The venue itself was fine, once you took the long walk in. When we were leaving, the walkway was poorly lit which probably isn’t the greatest idea for those who had a few beverages. Overall, not impressed.
The venue itself was clean; so clean that I really took notice. Staff was courteous, friendly, & knowledgeable. Nothing crazy overcrowded. (We arrived just as the 2nd opener was done, so there shouldn't be overcrowding.) Merch & booze lines were long, but that is to be expected anywhere. The only reason we're not at ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ is because they finally decided to start charging for parking. We took a shuttle so it was a non-issue for us. But, the sign that I half-glanced at said $45/$60. I guess this is for two different tier levels of parking. Regardless, charging that much for parking is absurd. Criminal almost. The first year you start charging, you're going to rob people? Not cool. Blink 182 was phenomenal. 😵
Went to a Rod Stewart concert and his show was fabulous! Cheap Tricks was the pre band and they were awful! They sang off key the whole time. We were outside and it was hot! However, that was to be expected in St Louis in Aug. a vendor was giving away free hand fans and that was nice, the fan in the area we were in was not turned on but the others were. It would have been nice if the fan could have been turned on. They were great at moving the crowd quickly while checking our tickets. I would go back if they offered something I was interested in.
Been to lots of great concerts here. One huge appeal was the free parking. With it gone now it takes way longer to enter the venue and the extra cost is a put off. It used to sellout every concert it seemed but a lot of people are upset over the parking now. It also takes forever to get out of here after an event and could really use some more folks escorting cars out. If you stay til the end of a show and don't sprint to your car expect it to take about an hour to leave. They also have very poor drainage so if it is expected to rain do not wear tennis shoes. Puddles up to 4 inches are everywhere. Had the loaded nachos on a recent visit.
Had a hard time giving an appropriate rating. Didn't have any issues getting there and parking, like I read in some other reviews. HOWEVER, it took an hour and a half to leave the parking lot after the concert. There's was no traffic control and it was chaos trying to leave. The venue itself is very nice. Paid for Green Room access, and it was totally worth it! Would highly recommend. Shout out to Missy Fox, who was working the entrance to the green room. She was so friendly, gave us weather updates, and informed us of show times. I also love that the people working concessions are volunteers trying to fundraiser money. Please work on hiring more people to help direct traffic in your lots. The traffic chaos makes me not want to come back to the venue. Would give 5 stars otherwise.
The amphitheater itself was great, they have plenty of locations to buy drinks, etc. they do charge for every single little thing, which is annoying but fine. If it had not been for the end of the night shuttle debacle, this rating would have been 4 stars. Went to go see Rod Stewart/ Cheap Trick on August 15th. We follow the directions to line up for the shuttle at the end of the concert, and it quickly becomes chaos. There were no ropes to delineate lines, and no staff to keep the snaked line separated, which made it a very dangerous situation. People were crowding, and the temperatures were already dangerously high. I saw multiple people suffering from heat stroke- one unconscious on the ground. When a woman near me began to puke due to heat (not alcohol) we went to go find help. She was taken to the security screening station, last 5+ people sitting in chairs suffering from the heat. Her friend tried to get cold water on to a cooling rag from the staff igloo cooler, and security SCREAMED at her. I’m younger and healthy, and it was just miserable for me. For others it was very dangerous, and the potential for crowd crush was high. I saw fights nearly break out because there was no defined line. Two security people in a mass of people did nothing. Some of the staff were working very hard to do their best, but I was so angry on their behalf that the venue did not do better. Hopefully everyone present was able to recover, but shame on this venue for doing the bare minimum.

This is a great park for walking with lots of trail variety. I'm just a walker/hiker, so I can't comment on what other activities are here, but it looks like a lot for the warmer months. I also noted a new Level II arboretum on the west side of Mallard Lake, which is exciting.
Such a beautiful park! The trails are good for walking, biking and running and the lake is great for kayaking or paddle boarding ❤️
Beautiful recreation area with a well maintained paved walking/ biking paths all the way around the lake and connecting to Fee Fee trail (great river greenway trail). Unpaved hiking paths through the wooded area. Kayak, canoe, and paddleboard rentals in the summer. Sandy beach area along half the lake and wooded nature area on the other half. Technically no swimming allowed at this lake, but I've seen lots of people wading along the sandy area. There's a nice kids park and splashpad area, picnic tables and lots of benches. Indoor bathrooms near the boat launch.
A perfect 6km around the lake. Mostly flat path, wheelchair and stroller accessible. Bikes are on path but well marked and signed for how to share safely. Lots of wildlife
Paradise. The trails, the exploration opportunities, the scenery. Just Paradise. Make sure to stop by the Dripping Falls end of the parking lot and you will be immediately greeted with the falls pictured below 🙂
I recently visited the park, and it was a delightful experience! The walking trails are well-marked and provide a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are plenty of benches, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Overall, the park is a wonderful place to unwind, enjoy nature, and spend quality time with family and friends. Highly recommend!
Beautiful calm lake with great multi use paths around the lake, parts of them shaded. Cooling breezes around some of the lake. Fishing and small watercraft allowed. You can rent kayaks and canoes. Recommend you bring your own paddles though as the ones they supply are heavy.
Even on overcast days, Creve Coeur lake shines with beauty and serenity. The residents of Dolan Memory Care Homes enjoy visiting the park, walking on the flat, well-kept paths, and seeing the wildlife.

Great experience for my kiddos! My youngest got scared and didn't finish the course, but she still had fun doing the small portion that she did. My other daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself and found the course to be one of the most fun things she has ever done. The instructors and staff were professional and polite. Overall 10/10 experience.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing time at Go Ape Treetop Adventures on Mother’s Day! It was the perfect way to get out in nature and celebrate. The entire experience was truly awesome—from the exciting obstacles to the thrilling zip lines, everything was well-organized and so much fun. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the course was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun outdoor adventure!
Awesome family outing!! We brought all three kiddos along. Our youngest wasn’t quite 3’3” yet, but there were viewing benches underneath the course to see the action. Staff was very friendly and we ended the day with some cold sweet treats. Three very happy campers. Highly recommend.
Had a wonderful experience here! Staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable! The course was challenging, but achievable, with easier or more difficult route options. We even got to see some wildlife, like deer and birds, on our route! It took us about 3 hours, so the price is worth it. Definitely recommend and will be going again!
Had an absolute blast with our two nieces (10 and 13) who were visiting from out of town, and it was possibly the highlight of our summer. I originally booked the shorter Treetop Journey meant for younger kids because it was a really hot day and I had never been zip lining before (and I have a fear of heights). Since my younger niece met the 4’7” heigh requirement, we discussed as a family, then talked to the instructors to gather more information and decided to upgrade to the Treetop Adventure. Best decision ever! We had a stellar experience. After we went through the practice course we were on our own, with the instructors checking in along the way. There were water stations along the course and it was a lot cooler in shade of all the trees. Being up that high among the beautiful trees was spectacular. We even saw an adorable family of deer making their way through the woods. Also, if you can’t follow basic safety instructions, then this activity is not for you. You need to make sure you are clipped to a support AT ALL TIMES. The instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful. Even when I got a bit stuck at one point trying to climb the net after the Tarzan Swing, two AMAZING guides were already there to assist from the ground and had me hook myself onto an extra support, then patiently talked me through to the platform. They checked in on us along the way to make sure we were safe, staying hydrated, and having fun. We started a little late because there was a 30-minute delay after hearing thunder, but we kept ourselves entertained with some outdoor games in the picnic area. We did wish there were a few more zip-lines and less climbing challenges, but it was all fun nonetheless. Highly recommend!
My husband and I celebrated our 28th Wedding Anniversary today! It was our first time! I'm fearful of heights and it was such a joy conquering my fear with my life partner at Go Ape! The staff were amazing and so supportive! It was like having your own cheerleading squad! I can't wait to come back with my kids!!!! Thanks Go Ape for making this a memorable event!
It was great ! I wish the Zipline was longer and there was a toddler size climb. I would love to take my grandkids, but do not feel comfortable with them on the adult size
I had such a great time and felt safe the entire time thank you so much for a great experience

We did each room at this place, and each room was fantastic!! Lots of twists and turns kept the rooms flowing with excitement right till the end. The unique puzzles were clever and fit in perfectly with the themes. Game Masters were invested in our experience and remained readily available. I would certainly recommend this place!!
I attended this event with some of my dearest friends/coworkers. This was an activity great for team building. Some of us have met for the first time as we all work at separate properties and we congregated at our corporate office. We all arrived at the same time the staff there was extremely knowledged in everything in the room the young lady knows all of the codes. Answer to every puzzle. they watch you as you solve it. They give you tips/riddles to help you solve it. she was just awesome.
Me and my boyfriend wanted something fun to do for our date night, and the first thing that came to mind was an escape room. We have been to multiple escape rooms in the past, but this one stood because of the unique and creative escape room ideas at an affordable price. Brad warmly welcomed us when we came, and did an amazing job hosting us and explaining everything in detail. He was very personable, and had us laughing the entire time we were there! We tried the Stranger Things room and it was very difficult, yet fun! We definitely will be coming back, and recommend this to anyone else who’s looking for something fun to do! 🩷
We had a fantastic time at Escape Challenge St. Louis. We have done many escape rooms together as a family, so we were excited to try a new one when we came into town for the weekend. We did The Office and it was great - just the right amount of challenge. Georgia, the game master, was super helpful and friendly. We wish we lived closer to try their other rooms. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
We did our first ever Escape room and had a blast! We chose The Office themed room and it was very well executed and challenging! We escaped with only 3 min left! Our host Georgia was excellent! We are going back to do the Stranger Things one…,thanks for a great time!!!
The Stranger Things room was a blast! It was tough, but very well designed and interactive. Our host Georgia was welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful with hints. We will be coming back to try the other rooms soon, 10/10!
We did the Stranger Things room as a family of 4 with a 7yo. We are experienced escapees, and the room was challenging while being well-placed. The theme was spot-on and really well done. The puzzles were fun to do with no major logic leaps. Our game master Emily was incredibly nice and did a great job. Definitely would recommend to others. If it would be your first room, you might want to start with an easier one, but then come back to this one.
Our daughter has been dying to do an escape room and my husband loves The Office so this was absolutely perfect. The room was perfect for the theme, the challenges were great, and it really made you think. No office knowledge needed either. Highly highly recommend! Customer service was amazing as well, Courtney was super friendly and responsive thoughout.

The intimate setting makes every seat feel close to the stage, which really adds to the energy of the show. It’s the perfect size for enjoying comedy without feeling lost in a huge crowd. On top of that, Patty is always absolutely amazing as our server—so friendly, attentive, and quick, even with a full room. She really makes the night even better. Can’t wait to come back!
Gone to open-mic night a couple of times now and it was a fun cheap date. First time the comedians were about 50% funny, which I consider really good for an open-mic. Second time it was more like 15% funny. The tickets are only $5. I still haven't figured out where to park.
We bought tickets online to the 7:30 show to see Ben Bailey. We arrived about 7:10 and the audience was already seated. The first comedian came on stage at 7:15. Wow, I’m glad we didn’t arrive any later than we did. The first two comedians were ok. Then the star of Cash Cab, Ben Bailey came on stage and his set lasted about 45 minutes. It was not stop laughter. I thoroughly enjoyed his performance! The tables are crowded together and the chairs are not comfortable. Our server was excellent and she bowed down when she entered and exited so she wouldn’t block our view.
Always a fun time! We saw Kevin Farley and laughed our asses off. Annoyingly, we were seated near the entrance and bar, which was incredibly noisy for the entire show. Ice being scooped, beer cans being tossed, bartenders talking to waitresses… it was all extremely distracting. I wish they did the seating differently and let you choose which table you wanted.
Came here a couple of weeks ago. The comedian did well. It was a smaller show which I liked. It makes it feel more intimate. There was only one person on wait staff that night & she absolutely killed it. I've been here many times & it's always been great. Would highly recommend for almost any occasion.
#FreeEmWakeEmSaveEmAll #Spencer Funny Bone St Louis YOU ARE AMAZING AND THE REASON I WILL BE THE TOP COMEDIAN IN THIS WORLD ANYTHING YOU NEED IM THERE INSTANTLY BROTHER SHALOM 🔯✡️
Went to open mic couple weeks back and it was a great show. Lot of courageous people tested their material before a crowd of strangers. Definitely cool to witness. Enjoyed the venue also.
I love the Tuesday night open mic night, $5.00 and you get 2 hours of entertainment. You might get the opportunity to see a well known comic, like Gary Warren.
