We arrived just in time for the next cave tour. They run every hour. Our tour guide showed us into the first section of the caves and gave us each an oil lamp to carry. As you get into the caves, there is no lighting, so you are relying on your lamps (and the tour guides torch) to light your way. The cave system is vast, and you do a small circuit led by the guide. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and explained the history of the caves as we entered each section. He made it fun, and my mum found it fascinating and relived memories from when she was evacuated during the war. We heard tales of the ghost and saw carvings on the walls. Many famous artists have performed concerts in the caves and it was also been a film location. Once the tour had finished, we met other members of staff who chatted to us about how the caves have changed over the last 50 years. Admission was very reasonable, and the lovely staff made it a great experience. We finished the day with a lovely cup of tea in the cafe.
Fun experience exploring the caves in London! No pictures allowed in the caves so you'll be able to take back home only memories... if you don't want risk the tour fully booked you better but tickets in advance otherwise you'll have to wait for probably hour for the next tour.
Great guided tours. Entertaining, fun and friendly guides. Very interesting historical look at the area. Reasonably priced. Guided tours only, on the hour. You can't walk yourself around (you'd probably get lost in the dark). No photography allowed inside, so you'll need to settle for these two that I took of the beautiful autumn trees outside
Super little tour around these privately owned caves. Date from about 8000yrs ago, but most of the mining of limestone (of which these caves are made) occurred in the 12th and 19th centuries i believe, and acted as an air raid shelter, as well as living space for some (for upto 150,000 people or more at its peak during World War 2). Good if you have a couple of hours at hand...interesting. Knowledgeable guides.
It was a really interesting experience. Would recommend if you find yourself in the area. I was detaching from the group quite often and went on the adjacent corridors which was really fun. Don't go too far as you can easily get lost. Only go on parallel corridors leading to the same point and don't let the guide see you or you get in trouble haha
Been here a number of times and it’s gone down hill, I try emailing them with some constructive criticism and just got ignored. You should be able to take pictures and the tours have become shorter and shorter.
Did a tour, lasted 45 mins, told us about the history of it and a story of the supernatural. Very interesting caves, you only see a very small part of it but I’d of loved to just walk for hours around the place if I was able to. It’s quite creepy and too quiet at times but an interesting location for sure.
Really cool cave system/mines with a lot of history dating back to the druids. Knowledgeable and light hearted tour guides (Alex and Jed) made the tour a fun and memorable experience! The tour was roughly 40 minutes with about a mile of walking, so perfect for anyone, particularly kids!

Great place for a walk, especially in summer! Perfect for kids who love exploring and playing in the mud. The woodland trails are beautiful, but be prepared with wellies, as it can get quite muddy. A lovely spot for nature lovers, but some paths could be better maintained. Overall, a great outdoor escape!
🌿 A Hidden Gem in Nature 🌿 Scadbury Park is a beautiful, peaceful escape from the busy world. The woodlands are full of charm, with winding trails perfect for walking, dog-walking, or just clearing your head. There’s something really calming about the tall trees, open fields, and quiet spots to just sit and take it all in. You might spot horses, squirrels, It’s also a lovely place for families or a solo stroll — safe, clean, and well looked after. Whether you're a nature lover, history fan (the old ruins are fascinating!), or just want some fresh air, Scadbury Park is a little slice of calm you’ll want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re in the area 🌳✨
Lovely location Scadbury Park. Parking can get busy at times at weekends and holiday times. Fabulous woodlands walks, circular walk with horses in the fields on one side. Nice seeing the Scadbury wooden bear sculptures on the walks. Great for family's, walkers, dogs. Lots of picnic benches in the main area. Would recommend.
Beautiful park, wild places with thick forest. Middle of the park meadows where you can see horses from close distance. There are quite a few trains that make this park an ideal place for hiking as well with kids and your pets. Can be muddy during winter or rain, but you can find hard paths avoiding muddy bits. There are a lot of birds and a few streams where your dogs can drink water from. No shops nearby to buy anything, so may sure you have a sandwich and drink with you.
A large country park occupying the estate of a former manor house. Part of the area to the north of the former manor house is private, however you can walk all the way round it - the western part is mostly forested and the eastern part more open with horses grazing and tranquil views which make you feel you are miles away from London. Various members of the Chislehurst Bears Trail can be found around the picnic area on the north side.
Love this place, such pretty woodlands walking, circular walk with horses in the fields on one side, perfect time of year to go in autumn with all the different colour leaves 🍂🍃🍁🍃🌿☘️🍁🍂 our westie loves this walk 🐾🐶
Beautiful nature reserve offering shorter and longer routes, trees for kids to climb on and a picnic area. Only thing I’d criticise is that more needs to be done to encourage dog owners to keep their dogs on the leash, especially around the picnic area.
This was a beautiful nature trail in the heart of Bromley. We were well equipped with our wellies and picnic for a long circular walk on the Scot’s trail bumping into the Manor House, walking past some beautiful horses before settling down for some picnic in the designated area with benches, bins, log play area and some shade. Things a beautiful area and the trails are signposted to avoid getting lost. There were 25 bears to find on the trail and 20 posts to walk past but there are maps along the way to avoid you missing your way. It was a fun activity for the family. Free car park too which made getting there very convenient.

Great venue in a large "wedding tent" a tad cold, but good sound from the stage. The toilets are clean. Beer options are totally acceptable but not for me as driving.
Great venue and ambience. My 1st visit to this venue. Went to see Aynsley Lister. Surprisingly the bar had a couple of Craft Ale Casks available. The sound mixing was excellent. Thank you sound engineer. Stood up near the front of the stage. Great local night out.
We had such amazing day for our wedding here! Amazing, friendly staff! Thank you so much for giving us the most perfect day!
What a fantastic venue. We used it for our wedding reception. Everything was easy to arrange and on the day everything was how we wanted it. From setting up in the morning, throughout the day and then into the evening all of the staff were professional and friendly. Thank you to the Beaverwood team for helping to make our special day “special”.
Excellent vibe at this place and have been numerous times Recently to see an 80s tribute called go span Duran and were excellent Need to book tickets and only problem I feel is drinks are a little expensive Check website for details
DJ'd a 50th birthday party here last week. Lovely venue!
We held a blessing here followed by a party and we had such a brilliant experience. Lisa and Dash were fantastic, they were easy to get hold of and on hand for questions and queries. They were able to accommodate changes and helped with a last minute requirement for more chairs. They organised all the setting up and all the suppliers for us so everything felt stress free! We had the most amazing party and our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
We went to the Soul event garden party on Bank Holiday Sunday 24 8 25. The venue is nice, the music was great. Just one complaint. The price for a very small glass of pimms was far too high. It tasted very weak, no alcohol was detected. My partner bought a small bottle of prosecco to add to the pimms at a hiked up price of £9.00 . Basically one glass. No need to be so mean as no doubt enough profit was made on pimms. Please remember for next year to have regular size glasses . Thank you. Jara

Excellent couple of hours, relax and enjoy in the fun. Cater for children parties also anyone who is vegan. Staff were accommodating, friendly and very helpful. Cafe on site for refreshments etc. Will keep children entertained during the holidays. Worth a visit if you haven't been.
Nice local driving range with cafe and America located in the facility. Went to the driving range in a Sunday and there was a bit of a wait. Probably should have booked on line rather than out showing up. The queue moved pretty quick for this that weren’t fused about top tracer bays and electric tees. Not all bays have top tracer!
We enjoyed it! Called on the phone and staff was so helpful. It was then lovely to have same level of service when we arrived as it was our first time there, again really helpful. The kids were able to enjoy the driving range with the toptracer screen and electric tee which was fun. Reasonable price as well. We will definitely come back!
Not a very good driving range, the mats move as you swing which causes the ball to move. I complained to the drinks trolley guy and he wasnt interested, actually quite rude to be honest which upset me. Hes obviously more interested in his dream job at easyjet. This was on the 12.04.2025 at around 12 oclock.
Great fun, not too expensive and the food is pretty good too! Would recommend.
Our first time ever going to the driving range and Chloe was extremely helpful and welcoming. They advised what club would be best based on our experience levels and instructions of how to navigate the interactive board to find the games and how to use the automated ball dispenser. All staff were pleasant, they went above and beyond.
Affordable place with 100 balls cost £10. It had several ranges as well because of which we got enough time. Recommended
Last minute decision, a guy helped us get the hang of it. Very attentive, very funny, made us laugh, and was helpful! Would defo be back! Thanks :)

Came for a quick drink, I'd been here a few years ago before I started reviewing but I'd forgot how amazing this place is,a solid 5 stars. Smart/casual feel to the place. I'd also forgotten how large the place is, it's small from the front but large inside, large dining area and large beer garden at the rear, small beer garden at the front. Service was spot on, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great choice of drinks at reasonable prices. We didn't stay to eat but wish we had. Definitely worth a visit. Will most likely go again the next time I'm in the chislehurst area.
Our first time visiting the Bickley Arms and it was fantastic! Lou’s service was absolutely amazing. She was kind, attentive and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!
A perfect place to relax. Staff are super friendly, child friendly. The food is incredible. The drink selection is amazing. The garden is beautiful. In fact, it's the best pub garden in Kent! P.S. the summer trifle is incredible! 😍
I really enjoyed my visit to Bickley Arms. The place had a great crowd with lots of people in, which gave it a lively vibe. Even though it was busy, I found it pretty clean and organised. I really liked the layout - split levels, a huge garden with huts, and different areas for dining, drinks, sport on TV, or even private hire. It’s also super convenient being just a short walk from the station, so I can see why it’s popular. Toilets were clean too, which impressed me. Overall, a solid spot!
Huge pub with plenty of seating including a lovely outdoor pub garden which is ideal for summer. Nice atmosphere and nice selection of food & drink on the menu. 10/10 roast with a nice size portion. Recommend eating inside as we were swarmed by wasps in the garden and had to move inside.
One of the best roasts I had in my life! I picked the Bickley Arms to celebrate my bday and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was ok. The pub is huge and very pram friendly too. I’ll be back ;)
Annie was our server and was excellent and very attentive. We both had the trio roasts and they were incredible - could’ve been more if anything! The pork belly on this was to die for. We also shared the sticky toffee pudding which was 10/10 and my wine was incredible! Very cosy and warm environment.
We visited The Bickley Arms for the first time for Sunday roast, and it definitely won’t be our last. The food was absolutely delicious!! Perfectly cooked, generous portions, and full of flavour. The atmosphere was really welcoming and cosy, which made it a lovely place to spend a Sunday afternoon. All the staff were great! A special mention to Karina, who served us and was amazing from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so well looked after. It really made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great roast and excellent service. We’ll definitely be coming back.

I love this place, I go on the Friday for the karaoke, there a lot of regulars who come to the pub to sing, but there's a vibrant lively local crowd who enjoy the singing and join in.. I'm not local to here, so always travel.. one of my favourite karaoke pubs
Lovely friendly family pub unfortunately no food but relaxed atmosphere great staff and all the regulars are lovely! Dog friendly to! Loads of TV screens for sport including a big screen in the patio garden which has heaters 👍
Sat outside in the sunshine, wasn't very busy in or out , friendly staff and a good G&T 😀
Rude staff, bullies. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Stinks of piss everywhere. Staff are awful
The lager was brilliant, ended up spending like a hundred quid but it was worth it. The inside looks old but unique and the outside seating is very spacious too. Nice beer garden with various decorations as well.
Such a hidden gem and a lovely place to sit down and watch the world go by. Lovely staff, friendly customers and feels how a pub should feel. Very welcoming and will definitely be back.
Nice staff, decent beer & always got sport on tv, but my god it reeked of piss *everywhere*. If they'd only clean the urinals and open the toilet windows it'd be 4 stars
Great service! I was served by two amazing young women named Courtney and kylie. They made myself and my family feel more than welcome and this pub should be proud to have staff like these as they really do go above and beyond for every customer! Golly gosh I can’t wait to come back! Thankyou so much ladies. My lads are more than happy! 5/5
