This epic place is designed as a spectacular white cathedral to wellness. Each oval window frames the mountains, trees and even hilltop ruins in the distance. There are many special pools with different temperatures and even pools to be done in rotation based on the warm jets and their different levels of heating. There is an outside pool area and a special space to enjoy and relax with others. They have an opportunity to get a robe for 10 Franc and I say this is the way to do it because the robe can also be used as a towel and perfect to lounge around it with champagne or a spritz in hand. The lockers needed clearer instructions so here they are 1. Get wrist band from front desk upon check in. 2. Choose locker 3. Press with your finger the circle 4. Its lights up 5. Lovely spa with natural mineral waters in different temperatures. It wasn’t overly crowded because we came on Monday morning. Only one small incident clouded our experience. While we were in the large pool with different jets one Swiss woman told us off and asked to vacate our jets because she wanted to use them. We thought it’s incredibly rude while we are literally in our swimming suits and defenseless. We can’t understand why some people can be this incredibly arrogant. But this is nothing to do with Tamina Therme staff who were super friendly. We definitely recommend to visit!

My wife and I came on my birthday and so I received free entry to the pool area, but still had to pay 18 Francs to enter the sauna world. My wife had to pay the full 37 for the pool area (2 hours) and the additional 18 for the sauna world. We thought this was a rather steep cost, given that the pool area does not have that much to offer - no slides or activities, just a few different pools to sit in bubbles. It's nice and relaxing, but it doesn't hold your attention for a longer stay. Once in the sauna area, there is no pool on that side (which has been mentioned previously). This is a huge detriment, to which they respond, "there are pools just a short distance away from the sauna area". Very nice to stay in the outdoor hot thermal waters of Tamina Terme, in particular when it is snowing 🌨 and not foggy so you can see the mountains! the price could be cheaper (everything is expensive in Switzerland, bring own robe and slippers and save money). Heavy smokers regularly smoke in the outside sauna area, they then enter into the sauna straight from smoking. And of course they enter for every hourly ceremony (the aufguss) causing a horrible smell of cigarettes 2 metres radius around them. You clearly see who is the smoker since people are disgusted and don't want to sit around them but everyone is polite so no one is saying anything. a Sauna is a place to wind down and relax. Majority of people are non smokers. I loved the Tamina until this happened during two visits. Now when I think of going to the Sauna I imagine the smell of cigarettes. No thanks I will stick with a non smoking sauna. Such a pity that a high level facility like that is not a non smoking spa.

Its not a great Skiresort but it has its charm in just three chairlifts and an annoying T-bar you get a lot of differnet slops. Specially with new fresh powder snow. And it is valuable for its price.

This place is so beautiful and suitable for hike with kids even in young age. One of the trail with sensory playground stop, fire pit stop , hammock stop and more. I don’t even say about beautiful surroundings and wild flowers that blooming all summer. We visited restaurant at the end of our journey and it was as amazing as this place.

I am so happy to have discovered this magical place also in winter 🌞✌️Pizolbahnen lower stations are located right at the highway exits, from a level of about 500m we rise to a height of over 2000m in a dozen or so minutes. There is snow here, perfect for downhill skiing, and superbly prepared trails for winter trekking

It started as an ad-hoc short trip, but quickly turned out to be one of the coolest places we have been to recently. You got amazing views, breathtaking mountain gorgeous valleys and some culinary options as well. (We had one of the best goulash soups ever) And you have tons of trails to explore. Probably the coolest one being the 5 Seen Wanderung, which is a medium difficulty hike touching 5 lovely little mountain lakes. 5 stars or even 10. Totally worth a visit, or two...or three 😊

Wonderful place for skiing. This skiing area originates in two different towns but it is connected on the very top. The restaurants are quite full during lunch time, but that's very typical in Swiss skiing areas. I especially like that there are multiple slopes to choose from on top of the mountain. If you travel by train from Zurich, go all the way to Bad Ragaz and there you catch Bus Line 456 and in less than 15 minutes you will have reached your destination. In order to go all the way to the top you need about half an hour (via aerial tramway). In the summer an incredible place to hike. Stunning views (especially the Rhine).

This is a gorgeous public park in the heart of Bad Ragaz. Nearby is a gorgeous Trail that follows a river with waterfalls along the way that is stroller friendly. Perfect location for a nature day. My daughter loves playing on the statues and taking a moment to read or at lunch and enjoy the beautiful scenery
