What an amazing experience! I booked the 1:30pm two hour trek this afternoon and was not disappointed! I’m not an experienced rider and although I was excited I was still a tad nervous, the staff however made the entire experience so welcoming and comfortable. They were excellent with me and ensured I had a great time throughout, teaching me as we went and before long I felt so comfortable riding. The scenery is so picturesque, I was partnered with Paddy the beautiful Irish Cob who was a pleasure to ride. I would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to have a fun day out, again fantastic staff especially Daisy and Kasey and the rest of the girls (so sorry I didn’t catch names). We also had food after the trek which again was lovely high quality food and coffee. Just 10/10 experience 😄
I booked the mixed abilities trek and rode the lovely Ross today, he was such a sweet lad! I told the owner I’m heading on a ranch trip in September, she gave me a western saddle to try out and Ross also understood western reining, so that was such a brilliant experience to try it out. The ride was wonderful, with experienced riders like myself catered for as we broke off from the group and enjoyed 4 long and exhilarating canters. You will be blown away when you visit, the most beautiful stables I have ever visited. All horses were all incredible, so well looked after and clearly the owners pride and joy. I saw some breeds and coat colours I’ve never seen before, they were all stunning. It was great chatting to the owners on the ride and the scenery was breathtaking. I haven’t stopped smiling since I got home and I cannot wait to head back in a few weeks for an experienced rider trek.
Could not recommend this place highly enough. Honestly I don’t know places like this exist. I’ve been riding/owned horses for 20 years and am so wary of group riding centres. However the horses were gorgeously cared for and happy horses. The riding was out of this world and catered expertly for a mixed group. All the staff were super lovely. Honestly, it’s a must visit if you’re anywhere near the area. We took a group of 10 for my friend’s hen do and it was superb. Even got a matching pony and saddle cloth for the bride. If you’re even slightly considering going, please do.
What an amazing experience this was for my two children. The 60 minutes trek through the chase. I shall certainly book again and include myself next time! A wonderfully run family business of 30+ years! You can chill out in the ranch and have a drink and a bite to eat! Friendly staff! Thank you so much and we shall see you again soon!
Wow! I had an incredible time on the 2 hour experienced trek. Lisa matched me with Arizona, who I was told is a favourite, and there's good reason for that! She was forward going, had the most beautiful smooth canter (we had several amazing long canters!) yet was sensible and felt very safe. The horses are sound, fit, confident and know their jobs really well. The cherry on top was that their resident photographer happened to be there during my ride - I've never had a 'proper' photo taken of myself on a horse, so I bought some of his amazing photos, one of which is attached here. I wish I lived closer, I would come here all the time. Thank you Lisa!
We came for the 1 hour beginners trek and absolutely loved it! The horses were amazing staff were incredibly helpful and the place is just beautiful so clean and well presented and Lisa the owner is around to greet you which is a lovely touch x
As an experienced rider and former horse owner I can’t recommend here enough. Lisa and her team have developed a group of happy, healthy and well trained horses who are carefully matched to their rider. The focus on natural horsemanship shows with responsive and very well cared for horses who seem to enjoy their work. Cannock Chase is a stunning location and the rides are varied for the benefit of the horses and riders. I’ve been to many centres since having my own horses and it’s rare to see such quality horses I’d love as my own. This is a slice of horsey heaven. Enjoy!
Me and 5 others booked the 1 hour trekking and we absolutely loved it. The whole team are amazing the lovely lady who owns it is fab and so friendly. The girls who came on the trek with us were brilliant gave us info on all of our horses helped us learn how to trot etc , such lovely girls. Horses were outstanding and so well behaved. The scenery was unreal & even thought it was raining, walking through the forest was beautiful. It definitely doesn’t effect your walk. Had such tasty food and drinks after at the bistro , would definitely recommend great for all ages

We went with our family. Our two young grandchildren really enjoyed there day. Lots of activities for them to do. Our four year old didn't want to leave. We stayed until the doors closed at four. A great eating area with an enormous soft play. We took a picnic but food is available along with a wide range of cakes to go with coffee or tea. Animals to see with a small petting area. We also joined a very good talk and touched the snakes and lizards. There's much more, in all a great family day out. Kids will love it.
We visited the farm yesterday, and I can say from the start to finish we had the best time. Was so much to do for my little boy. He is dinosaur mad, so this was perfect for him. We loved meeting all the animals, break in the soft play, yummy lunch, then ended the day at the form party. It was truly a magical day. We can’t wait to return later in the year.
Absolutely amazing. First time we visited today and we all loved it. The pick your own beetroot and sweetcorn was our highlight, such a different experience and our 2 year old loved it. We enjoyed it that much we’ve booked the the pick your own pumpkin experience.
Had a really good day here! Lots of things to do and see from a tractor trailer ride to jumping pillows. The reptile talk show was good, the three hosting it were very nice and informative about the reptiles. The small animals were very cute, especially the ducklings. You can ask to pet the small animals such as the rabbits. The soft play is HUGE and so, so fun, it was in very clean and well kept condition, even the role play area seemed clean. There is a couple of good drop slides, the 2 in the drop slide area and one in the soft play. They have some other shows and experiences on, but we didn't attend those. Some very small areas were closed off as there was renovations going on there (or what seemed to be). Hoping to come back soon to do their new maze, well worth the money. The onsite food places seemed reasonable priced, my partner had a brownie which he said was delicious. We did take our own food, but did get some snacks and drinks from there. Lovely little gift shop on the way out too.
Well worth the money for a whole day out Huge play area with lots to do for a wide range of ages, we came with our 1 and 5 year olds and both loved it. We had lunch in the cafe as well which as very good quality and reasonable prices. Loved the shows we went to, the only downside was that the tractor rides were cancelled due to bad weather, but that's obviously not in their control. The large bouncy cushions were a massive hit with our 5 year old
Amazing, been fostering for 8yrs and only just discovered this place. It's huge!! The biggest soft play we've ever seen. Lovely animal pens, little one loves pigs so she was in her element 😁 nice outside part, children loved the pillows, didn't get time to walk around the outside animals but went on the tractor ride which was ACE stopped in the field amongst the cows 🥰 We went the cafe which was also ace, good selection of food and yummy cakes.
This place is just a 20 minute drive from us and we never knew it was there. Our loss, great for younger kids, we spent 6 hours with 3 of our grandchildren. The indoor soft play area is superb with areas for over 6 years and areas for toddlers. The complex is like a maze with slides, tunnels etc and is 3 levels high. There is also plenty of outdoor play facilities. Plenty of animals to see from normal farm to other smaller types. Tractor trailer ride is good. There is also a dinosaur outdoors picknick area. The best part is the foam party at the end. Plenti of toilets and refreshment facilities.
We had a fantastic day out at Play @ Lower Drayton — a brilliant spot for toddlers and young kids! The soft play area is really well set up, with different sections that cater to various ages and interests, so there’s plenty to keep little ones entertained for hours. Everything felt safe, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The farm section was a lovely bonus — the animals were friendly, cheerful, and clearly well cared for. Our toddler loved feeding them and we got some great photos! The tractor ride was a definite highlight and brought lots of smiles. The café was great too — plenty of options, and the cakes were especially delicious! Overall, a well-organised, family-friendly place that we’d highly recommend for a fun and active day out with young children. We’ll definitely be visiting again!

Amazing day here today. My daughter wanted a zoo keeper experience for her birthday. Chloe and Sophia Were amazing and took the time to explain everything about all the animals we got to see. Everything here is great value for money including the cafe, no overpriced food and drinks here. Plenty of parking and it wasn't too busy being the first day of the school holidays. After the keeper experience ended we walked around again and saw the animals we missed. We managed to make a whole day of it and saw every animal. Walking the ferret was quite the highlight for my daughter as it's not something you do everyday. Definitely recommend the zoo keeper experience and the whole place. Will be going back soon for sure. Thank you very much.
Took my 2yr old granddaughter today 29.08.25. The place was more than I expected. Only had to pay for me £9 so a bargain was had. We took a picnic & drink and stayed for 3 hours. My D has walked her little legs off and loved every minute of today. Definitely recommend 👌
Our daughter did a Junior Zookeoper Experience today and it was fantastic. Harry and Celine were fabulous with Lola. She learned lots about the animals and prepared and fed them. She prepared food and fed the Lemursn prepared and fed the Iguana and tortoises. Learnt about snakes and held a python. Helped feed the goats, horses, sheep and Llamas, gave a pig a tummy rub, fed the otters and rabbits. The time flew by. It was such a lovely experience, highly recommend to any animals lovers. We'll definitely be back x
Been several times. Plenty of free parking and open at weekends and during school holidays. Got some fab pics and videos of the animals including the porcupines. Would highly recommend a visit :)
Enjoyed our visit here + will return again next year. Lots of new enclosures have been built ready for new animals. It is spotless+the animals/birds etc are looked after very well. Staff in the gift shop were friendly.
Been here a few times , it's so good for the price and way more animals then other places that are more money Lovely and the kids love it
Couldn't thank the Animal Zone enough, they did a fantastic party for my 5 year old daughter and her friends. They enjoyed petting miniature hedgehogs, guinea pigs and feeding the rabbits. They took great care with the party food making sure that it was clearly labeled for any special requirements. The children and parents really enjoyed the day!
Lovely morning out with my 2 year old daughter, my friend and her 5 year old son. £9 to get in, the animals are well cared for and there’s lots of space to explore. We stopped to listen to the Lemur talk and met Sid the lemur, they are all adorable creatures! Lovely place to visit

What an amazing day we've had at the pumpkin patch! We were able to pick our own pumpkin (and there really was an amazing choice from small ornamental ones to huge pumpkins of every colour). My Daughter then delighted in carving her pumpkin under cover on the benches (no mess at home thank you!) then after painting the van and having a delicious hot chocolate it was a fun trailer ride down to the cafe and play area. A beautiful site with a warm and friendly team who couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome! Can't wait to try this campsite out next summer but with amazing food, a friendly and safe play area for the children, I can't recommend a visit this Halloween enough! Thank you all for a wonderful day, topped off with marshmallows the children can toast themselves!
⭐️⭐️ We stayed here over the bank holiday with a group of 16 and overall had the best time. The campsite itself had fantastic facilities, showers were clean and the layout to get changed were the best I’ve used at a campsite. Staff on Saturday were brilliant — really friendly and helpful, they joined in on our joking around and were fun. Unfortunately, our experience was let down by poor customer service regarding activity bookings. We booked the inflatables for Saturday and what we believed were paddle boards for Sunday. When we turned up on Sunday, we were told our booking had actually been for Saturday straight after the inflatables. Nobody mentioned this when we checked in or when we were at the inflatables, despite everything being booked under the same surname. When we explained the mix-up, the lady lake manager treated us like she was a Sargent major, no compassion when all the kiddies were standing there when we told nothing could be done with no apologies, rather than handling it professionally. We’ve since spoken to management but no goodwill or refund was offered as it was up to the lake manager! (we were only 50 yards away at the time of the missed session and no one thought to call.) It’s a real shame, because the campsite itself is 10/10 and the Saturday staff were excellent. However, the way this situation was handled has overshadowed what could have been the best weekend. I would still stay again, hopefully the lake manager will have left or been on a customer service course by then.
Don’t judge a book by the cover. Yes the toilets may look clean but whilst waiting for my daughter I watched the cleaning lady use the same cloth from one end of the stools to the other wipe down all toilets sanitation bins flushes and toilet roll holders basically just wiping urine and feces everywhere 🤮
We came as a party of three tents, two of us first time campers, one in a wheelchair. We found the park to be absolutely brilliant. The security at the start was very reassuring. High tech entry, and a shop onsite that had all you need. The welcome was fantastic and we received all the information we needed and our electric cards. Friendly wardens showed us to our pitches which were in a great spot by the Dotties cafe bar. On site facilities were spot on. The site is very clean and tidy. The toilet block was spotlessly clean day and night. The accessible toilet and shower was perfect, although getting in to the toilet block is a bit tricky in a wheelchair due to the gravel paths, but once past the gravel it was fine. The staff here are fantastic. They're really friendly and go out of their way to help. They patrol the site in little buggys and can be found easily. You always feel that the kids are safe here. On site activities are brilliant. Well maintained play areas, two huge bouncy pillows, a great double zip wire, the gold creak, a beautiful well stocked fishing pond and a swimming lake, which we will definitely try out when we next visit. The cafe bar is great. Food and drinks were nice and not too expensive. Everything about our weekend stay was brilliant, and excellent value for money. We are absolutely returning next season. As a side note, accessibility here is as about as good as they could have made a campsite. The paths are gravel, which makes it a bit tricky, but the grass is flat, well maintained and for the best part I was able to access all of the site, but needed someone to accompany and assist, especially when accessing the facilities block. But all buildings have good ramps and it's clear that the site does care about accessibility and do make every effort to accommodate.
This place is amazing!! First time camping and we have had the best experience. Will most definitely return. The facilities , cafe, food, pool, shop, rangers and everything in between we're absolutely perfect, lovely and spot on. Couldn't ask for anymore. The process was easy and we loved every minute. Thank you!
Well maintained site, with large very clean washing up and toilet facilities. Showers are huge and spotless. Dottie's cafe is excellent and has a vast selection of food and drink to choose from; a bit pricey, but convenience costs. Lots for the kids to do, and the pitch we always stay on is very large and by the fishing pool. The best site we've stayed at. (This is our 5th year staying here).
Perfect campsite for families and anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors! Visited for the first time for a long weekend, and won’t be our last time! Facilities were immaculate, plenty to do for everyone! Check in and out times very convinient too! Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay!
Lovely camp site for Motor homes,Dampers, caravans and tents. On site shower block is modern and clean. On site shop to get essentials. Lovely place for fishing and and outdoor water activities

Met and was shown round the Golf club today by Dave Poole! What a great guy!! Seems to have a genuine heart of gold... A warming smile and just down to earth and a pleasure to chat with. I was also shown round the gym and health spa by Jordan and he seems a great lad too. The rest of the staff I met were extremely pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. So that's the staff... The actual golf course itself also looks very good, a lovely 18 hole golf course with a restaurant, golf bar and function room which is a great space for weddings and functions. Very pleasant indeed and the food smelt amazing.. And they currently do a deal £20 for a 3 course meal which seems great value for money, will need to try it to confirm but I don't doubt it looking at the rest of the place. The spa and wellbeing has a gym as mentioned, a steam room sauna tanning room and a whole host of treatments from acupuncture to laser treatments from an extensive list of massages to facials, waxing to full manicures and pedicures. The best advice I can give is go and speak with Dave.. Meet the rest of team have a wander round.. Even try the food! Play a round of golf. Do anything and you will be in great hands at The Chase Golf and Country club.
My mum and I had an overnight stay last night, including a meal in the lounge bar, breakfast and aromatherapy massages in the Spa. Everything was excellent; the staff couldn't have been more helpful, the rooms were lovely and very clean, food exceptional - especially for the price (Dinner = 2 courses for £20 deal) and the massages were fantastic. Mum has limited mobility and I had booked with the Spa and then the hotel after discussions about how she could be accommodated. They were so helpful organising the booking and during the visit. We definitely plan to go again.
Lovely setting by the golf course with distant country views. Friendly welcome. Comfortable room with super king bed. Good service in the lounge for our bar food and drinks. The food was good. Good service at Breakfast, which was freshly cooked and tasty. Free use of spa and health club and wellness centre is a bonus , which we sadly didn't have time to take advantage of. It was an ideal spot for us to stay, as it was a short drive for us to see Sting at Cannock Chase Forest Amphitheatre. Also, thank you to the cleaner who retrieved my earring from the hoover and put it into lost property. Would happily recommend it if you're in the area.
Only used the driving range on a Sunday evening. Very busy, only one bay available, we were surrounded by non golfers; the steelwork was taking a battering. No-one obvious overseeing what was going on, or to assist with problems. A chap did walk through at one point but it was not obvious he worked there. Ball machine and vending machine take cards, couldn't see toilets. Would like to play the course but not sure about using range again.
I went with my husband to have a massage it was lovely. The staff are very friendly and welcoming we will go back soon
Awful customer service by the lady on the front desk. Was incredibly rude, went off peak time and was still incredibly busy. Sadly the grass and greens were in quite pour condition compared to what people lead you to believe. Half the water features were also empty real shame
Were there for an organised event. Needed Sat nav to find it! Well laid out room forvyhe evdnt and plentiful, tasty buffet. Helpful staff. Large car park.
Went here for a lecture, great facilities, kind staff and very good food, had breakfast.

Brilliant market lots of bargains to be had believe me if they haven't got it you don't want it from in season duck eggs to litter pickers it's all here and all going on brilliant day out cafe here fresh fruit jacket potatoes a meat van a small free car park plus a bus from Wolverhampton 287 stops here. Disabled access available 3 toilets brilliant 👏 👌
Really good market. Well laid out. Everyone seemed super friendly. Plenty of on site parking. On site cafe was really nice. Plenty of other food outlets as well. My mum is a wheel chair and was fine getting around the market however we did have some trouble getting from the car park as we had to park in overflow but that’s not anyone’s fault we just arrived later in the day.
Visited yesterday for the first time after hearing about it for years, it was very busy but calm at the same time. Lots of people and a good variety of stalls selling just about everything you'd expect but no shouting no pushing or shoving, the most enjoyable market we've been too in years. I wouldn't recommend the burger van, it's typical of it's type and smells better than it tastes, there is a cafe but we didn't spot that until after we'd eaten. The place was also noticeabley clean, didn't spot a single piece of litter and only saw one bin (at the burger van).
Lots of stalls. Parking is VERY busy. Some good offers but others not so much. Definitely rectthe ice-cream man!
Very busy, loads of stalls, great to see a thriving market
Lots of stuff. Clothes, hardware, food, cheap electronics (in both senses of the word), kitchen bits, plants, fresh fruit and vegetables, gardening tools, garden decorations, pet treats and toys, childrens toys. We were expecting it to be really crowded, but it wasn't at all. Maybe a lot of people stayed inside in anticipation of the hot weather, but this morning wasn't bad. Nice to wander through and gawk at the animals.
Open Weds and Sat. Varied stalls from Butchers to watch store, electrical house hold goods, you name it, they will most likely have it....Cafe and WC facilities. Nice and friendly atmosphere! 😊
Went to the military market on August 17th. It was delightful. Plenty of stalls of high quality goods and dedicated sellers. Well attended and great parking. Roll on October!
