We came as a party of three tents, two of us first time campers, one in a wheelchair. We found the park to be absolutely brilliant. The security at the start was very reassuring. High tech entry, and a shop onsite that had all you need. The welcome was fantastic and we received all the information we needed and our electric cards. Friendly wardens showed us to our pitches which were in a great spot by the Dotties cafe bar. On site facilities were spot on. The site is very clean and tidy. The toilet block was spotlessly clean day and night. The accessible toilet and shower was perfect, although getting in to the toilet block is a bit tricky in a wheelchair due to the gravel paths, but once past the gravel it was fine. The staff here are fantastic. They're really friendly and go out of their way to help. They patrol the site in little buggys and can be found easily. You always feel that the kids are safe here. On site activities are brilliant. Well maintained play areas, two huge bouncy pillows, a great double zip wire, the gold creak, a beautiful well stocked fishing pond and a swimming lake, which we will definitely try out when we next visit. The cafe bar is great. Food and drinks were nice and not too expensive. Everything about our weekend stay was brilliant, and excellent value for money. We are absolutely returning next season. As a side note, accessibility here is as about as good as they could have made a campsite. The paths are gravel, which makes it a bit tricky, but the grass is flat, well maintained and for the best part I was able to access all of the site, but needed someone to accompany and assist, especially when accessing the facilities block. But all buildings have good ramps and it's clear that the site does care about accessibility and do make every effort to accommodate.
